Current Season: Fall
Weather Report: The warm days have passed and the air is starting to chill for the coming winter. The color of leaves have started to change and a few have started to fall. It is now season of boars and that can present itself as an opportunity for some kennels until the coming winter. Predators have also become more abundant as they search for food as well.

Pack Of The Silver River lives in a territory with much variety. Their den is a rather large cave at the base of a cliff, hollowed out in the days when the river they live by was ten times it's current size. A large, silver river weaves through their territory, and from it the pack takes it's name. The Dogs

Some of the best members are gun dogs who are able to run through the ever changing territory with ease, and navigate the river with little difficulty as they pursue their prey. (If their leader could be a Vizsla, or munsterlander, that would be awesome!)

The Mentality
The dogs of Pack Of The Silver River are very accepting, welcoming all kinds of dogs into their pack, even if they aren't exactly suited to the terrain. They are not against inter-pack relationships, and can often be found along their borders, chatting with other packs. They know their limits however, and any dog found trespassing on another pack's territory without permission will be severely punished.

Extra: I'm finally back! Please feel free to PM me if I have given you a picture of a dog you already have - I'm going to try and go through all the pictures but for now I figured you'd like for some replies first! And I tried to link all last replies but please tell me if they're wrong! It was some work digging them all up.

trenton, orlando, victoria, verona and juno eventually find the deer and manage to take it down!
however, victoria got kicked in the ribs and needs elder leaves. if essex wishes to give it to her she could use either poppyseeds or thyme as she's still pretty shook up.
trenton got caught by the antlers on the side of his face and has a minor cut. it isn't necessary to treat.
the whole hunting party will need to rest one moon (post) before being active again - that was quite the hunt!
brighton gives birth to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 pups! however, the chill in the air causes two of them to be born still and one is rather sickly.
essex and brooklyn find celadine, dock, and daisy leaf!
florence, york, dayton, rome, raleigh, and bronx catch two rabbits, two small birds and a squirrel!
lincoln, diego, kent, carolina and peyton's patrol finds the scent of a fox. it's so strong it suggests there being two or three on the territory! careful out there, tenderpaws!
while training eugene, adelaide, sicily, bristol and acton all learn the (offensive) fighting move!
while training brooklyn learned the delicate digging move! (good for brittle plants?? lol, hope that's okay)

Rocky smiled at his pups, happy that he had the family he always wanted. Essy was overjoyed, seeing her mate and leader so happy. She curled around her pups for a much needed rest. Rocky went back to his den as well, already making plans for the next day.

Rocky awoke early, needing to make a well deserved trip to the ancestors. Once there and back he gave his orders to his kennel and went with Baldr to investigate the fox scent that was found the previous day.

It had been many moons since the fateful day Parker was struck down by a bear. Surprisingly enough though the ancestors remained on the Shaman's side, keeping him alive. Parker was a stubborn Shaman, forcing his Tenderpaw to take care of the other injured dogs before himself. Eagle did all he could, but did not have all the herbs needed to help every dog. The young Shaman Tenderpaw left to go in search of herbs,m leaving the pack's leader, Kodiak, and his best friend, Azalea behind to do what they could. While out in search for herbs Parker, slipped into a coma. Eagle was devastated, but remained hopeful as he prayed to the ancestors every day.

Eagle sighed, rising to his paws early one morning. The young dog gazed at his still sleeping mentor and frowned. "Parker... I'm trying, but I'll never be as good as you. The pack knows and their trying to be supportive. They need your guidance." he whispered. Letting out another sigh Eagle padded out of his den and to the nursery caring chevril. Aketchi had gotten a runny nose, while Charlie's runt Jovi began to breath strangely.

"Oh hello Eagle. Here to look at Aketchi and Jovi?" Azora asked as the Tenderpaw padded in. Eagle nodded towards the female in response, forcing a small smile. Azora nodded back, frowning slightly. "I'm sure you'll be able to heal them up quick as can be."

Eagle nodded once again, going over to Shiho and her pups first. "Good morning Shiho. I have some chevril for Akecthi, it'll cure his runny nose real quick. How are the other pups?" he asked, making sure the young pup ate the herb.

Shiho let out a small annoyed sighed, but smiled a bit. She never fully enjoyed the company of other dogs or asking for help. However she had grown to tolerate the other pup-mothers and was grateful for Eagle taking care of the pups. With out him, she would have lost another pup. "The others are doing fine... Thank you."

Eagle gave the female a slight nod before padding over to Charlie and her pups. The runt, Jovi, had begun to breath strangly and Eagle wanted to do all he could to save the little pup's life. However he knew Jovi was strong and would fight till the very end. After all Jovi's mother was the beta and his father was a strong Irontooth.

As Eagle worked, Azora's surviving pup Reba watched him in silence, studying everything Eagle did with sparkling eyes. She had seen a lot of Eagle lately and was always drawn to the Shaman Tenderpaw, wanting to know how he did things. Something about being a Shaman fascinated young Reba, as she hoped to maybe be the next Shaman Tenderpaw. Eagle enjoyed the young pup's company, even allowing her to help with little things from time to time. He saw a lot of himself in her, and remember the days when he was a pup and wanted to become a Shaman.

Shiloh returns to camp with a slight strut in her step. Her Tenderpaw Baxter had finally completed all four skills each Tenderpaw was trained in. Although the young male struggled in the beginning he had grown over the past moons and was now ready to become an Irontooth. The reddish brown female paused for a moment, glancing over her shoulder to make sure her Tenderpaw was behind her. She smiled, noticing some pep in Baxter's walk that day.

The shy Tenderpaw had grown over the years and was over flowing with confidence today after passing his final training skill. Baxter strutted up next to his mentor and padded along side her. The pair padded over to the alpha, in hopes that he would be able to ask the ancestors to make Baxter an Irontooth.

"Good morning Kodiak and Brittany. I was wondering if you would be able to ask the ancestors today if Baxter could become an Irontooth. He's passed the four skills our pack requires and has also improved over the past few moons." Shiloh explained.

Brittany smiled, always happy to see young Tenderpaws grow in to adult dogs. Kodiak looked at his mate briefly, smiling at her before looking back at Shiloh and Baxter. "I agree. Baxter, you struggled at first, but now after some time you have grown and gained more confidence. I shall ask the ancestors to make you an Irontooth." Kodiak barked.

The alpha rose to his paws, dipping his head to the three dogs. As Kodiak began to walk away Brittany sense that their pups would be coming. The female jumped to her paws, racing quickly to the nursery to begin the long road of labor. Kodiak looked at Shiloh who only smiled and nodded her head, racing after the other female to make sure everything was alright. Kodiak would have gone himself, but he knew Brittany would want him to do his alpha duties before coming to her side.

It had been some time now since Kayode had join the pack. It was different from what the African Wild Dog was use to, yet it was also familiar in away. Although the male missed his home back on the plains, he had adapted quickly to his new home and pack. Rising to his paws the unqiue looking dog padded out of his den and into the camp's larger main cave. There he watched as many dogs came and go from their dens or the cave itself.

Upon spotting Kayode, Stone padded over to the other male. "Good morning Kayode. I was gonna take a patrol out and go after that mountain lion some of the younger Ironteeth scented a few days ago. Would you like to join?" the large gray pit asked.

Kayode nodded, knowing his smart thinking would be extremely useful. He remembered back on the plans how his old pack would occasionally deal with a pesky lion or two. "Sure. With all the new additions to the pack we can't risk anything."

Stone gave his famous half smile before nodding his head. "Alright. I'll get Bear, Bandit, Boss, and Amber to join us." With that Stone left to gather up the dogs needed for the patrol before heading out. Stone lead the way while Kayode and Bear flanked each side of him.

With winter right around the corner, the pack wanted to make sure they where fully stocked on prey and herbs. However both things began to become hard to find as the cold weather began to role in.

Nina sat in between Thunder and her brother Wallen, the three dogs gazing out across the land. "Let's form a hunting party. Get out there and catch what we can while we still can." She barked.

Wallen barked a yes back and Thunder gave a slight nod of the head, both agreeing with the female. "I agree. It can be us three and how about Bailey, Daisy, and Korra?" Thunder suggested.

Nina nodded her, agreeing with the males choice of dogs. "I'll go get them and then we can head out!" she explained, heading inside to gather the other three dogs. Once gathered Nina and Thunder led the patrol while Wallen stayed in the back keeping an eye out for other possible predators.

Although not trained as a Shaman, Azalea knew how to do some things thanks to Eagle's help. She had promised him the day before that she would go out today and find what little herbs she could. Knowing it had grown a bit more dangerous to go alone, she was accompany by her son Norman. The remaining dogs, June, Rose, and Akira stayed behind to help provide extra protection for the camp.

Dusty sat with the three females, happy to tell them stories as they kept an eye out on the pack while most of the others where gone. The girls enjoyed the older dogs company, finding time to go more quickly with Dusty around.

Parker's body felt numb as his eyes opened slightly. He had been in dream like daze for some time now, however for some reason he knew it was time to wake up form it. The Shaman weakly opened his eyes more, taking in the familiar sights around him. The male lifted his head slowly, looking around for Eagle only to find he could only see out of one eye. Frowning, Parker went to inhale the familiar scent of herbs only to find he could smell nothing.

(At the end I have Parker waking up. Can something wrong/slightly bad happen? That way Parker wakes up to slight chaos?)

Swinging Blades

Number of Dogs: 8 Males_ 6 Females_ 14 Total
Lekkar was mending Kota's wounds. Rocco sat by watching for a while before getting distracted by a grasshopper.
Kota was laying on his good side. Lekkar placed the cobwebs on Kota's stomach. That seemed to help the bleeding stop. "You see Rocco, when you place the cobwebs like this- Rocco pay attention!"
The young tenderpaw pounced at the grasshopper. It flew away as he landed. "Did you see that Lekkar? I almost caught that bug!"
"Are you paying attention to me?" Lekkar growled annoyed.
"Oh, uh yeah. I'm sorry. I'm paying attention now." Rocco sat next to his mentor.
"Good, now watch how I place the cobwebs. You need to make sure that they are placed over the entire wound so the bleeding halts. See? Kota's wound stopped bleeding."
Rocco was amazed. "Wow. He really did stop bleeding." Rocco leaned his front paws on Kota's stomach.
Kota yelped in pain. "Ow, Rocco don't stand on my injuries."
The pit jumped off. "Sorry Kota."
Lekkar scolded Rocco "You need to be careful! The dogs we help are either injured or sick. If you make a move like that again, you could end up hurting the dog even more. And that means they'd have a longer time to recover and not helping the kennel."
Rocco shrinked back. "Ok, I won't do it again."
Lekkar sighed. "I know you are young and this is the first time you are healing a dog. But please try to pay attention and not hurt our patients."
"Yes sir."
"Good, now do you want to apply the cobwebs to Kota's face?" Rocco nodded excitedly.
Dimitri and Keesha arrived from their patrol at camp. Summer wagged her tail and approached them. "How did the scouting go? What kind of dogs are in our neighboring kennel?"
Keesha answered "Um, we didn't actually scout the kennel."
"What?! What do you mean you didn't scout the other kennel?" Summer growled at Dimitri and Keesha.
Keesha replied "When we reached to border, the scent was freshly marked. We thought it would be better to go with more dogs in case we did get attacked."
"No. The point of a scouting mission is to be stealthy and quiet. If I sent more dogs, the chances of the scout getting caught increase greatly. You two should know that. I sent you out on a special task and you come back empty! So you learn how to contribute to the pack, neither of you are going to eat."
Dimitri lowered his head and his ears flatten. "I'm sorry Summer. We didn't feel like it was the right time. Those markings were made earlier in the day."
"No excuses! I want you to patrol the southern border and report back to me when you have useful information."
"Yes, alpha." Dimitri and Keesha leave camp.
A little while later, Titus and Blitz come back from their patrol. Blitz walks up to summer. "Summer, at the end of our patrol we caught the scent of a mountain lion. It's not too far from camp. We smelled it by the lake."
Titus adds "It smelled like it was coming closer to camp. I suggest that we send a patrol to fight it off."
"Good thinking. You two and Callie go find the mountain lion. I'll send out a hunting party."
"You're only sending three dogs? Don't you think that more might be better to scare off a giant cat like that?"
"Three dogs of the Swinging Blades kennel can take care of a cat. No go before it get's any closer to camp."
The three dogs leave camp.
Summer, irritated at most of the kennel, took Gracie, Maxie, and Tobias hunting. "Lekkar or Kota, watch Clover."
As the hunting party was leaving, a brown speckled dog approached camp. "Hello, the ancestors have led me to the Swinging Blades kennel."
Summer responded "Yes, you must be the dog that I asked for. What is your name?"
The tall dog responded "My name is Verona."
"Versona, you arecoming on a hunting trip with us."
"Alright. Let's go."
[Dimitri and Keesha go on a patrol in the forest.]

[Titus, Blitz, and Callie look for the mointain lion.]

Lassie and Heather returned from training, Lassie running to her mother quickly, Belle greeted her daughter by touching noses. "Salutations, what did you learn today, little one?" Belle asked, "I learned tracking!" Lassie yipped excitedly, Belle looked over to Heather, who was watching the 2 close behind Lassie, "You may keep your Tenderpaw" Belle nodded, Lassie ran over to Heather, "Great! I'm gonna get a bite of rabbit. Wanna come, Lassie?" she asked, Lassie shook her head, "Nah, I'm good!" she barked. Heather nodded and padded off to the fresh-kill. Sparrow came into camp, Iris by his side, he dipped his head to his sister and headed into the Shaman den with Iris. Shortly after he came out and greeted his sister, Bracken padded over to his brother and sister, "So Lassie, Sparrow. How were your days?" Bracken asked, he dropped down a squirrel and he and Sparrow immediately dug in. "Heather taught me tracking, actually!" Lassie barked, Bracken rose his head and swallowed his bite of squirrel, "Hah! That's it?" Bracken asked, Lassie growled at her brother, "got a problem, hot shot?" she spat, Bracken finished up his squirrel and turned to Lassie, "Maybe I do" he growled, Sparrow watched the 2 from his squirrel, "Oh no not again.. they are gonna get in a fight and act like arch-enemies forever.. but then forgive each other the next day" Sparrow mumbled, Bracken had Lassie pinned to the ground, holding her down with his paws, Lassie managed to turn her head and bite harshly on Bracken's paw, sending him jumping back, letting out a yowl. He was about to leap out at her once he got back to his paws when Sparrow and Solo jumped between the 2 in unison, Belle and Logan rushing to their pups. "Bracken, what in the name of our ancestors are you doing?" demanded Logan, "Lassie bit me!" yipped Bracken, "Well who tackled her?" Belle asked, Bracken shook, "But it hurts!" Bracken yowled, Sparrow checked his brother's paw, "She didn't bite you that hard, it was just enough to send you flying back.. you're fine, crybaby" Sparrow explained, "Bracken, you dont fight a sibling just cause your mad, your punishment is to go and clean Poppy's moss till her pups are born" growled Belle, "As for you, Solo" barked Belle, "We thank you and Sparrow for both stopping the fight, you will soon be made an Irontooth" nodded Logan, Solo gasped, "D-Did you guys hear that?" he barked.
One moon later..
Solo and Florida had left to go to training, Florida wanted to get his apprentice ready to be an Irontooth, Jet and Rookie were outside the nursery, every once in a while Rookie checking in the nursery to check on Poppy, who was sound asleep. "Cant you believe it, Jet? Soon I'm gonna be a father! Only a week ago Iris told us the pups could be here any day now!" Rookie barked excitedly, Jet nodded to his friend, he noticed Heather walking by, the 2 shared a death glare, Heather padded off with Belle to go hunting. Jet looked back to Rookie, "that's great, Rookie! I'm proud of you, your like.. my best friend" Jet woofed. "Yeah! but why are you so mad with Heather?" asked Rookie, "She and I aren't just.. good friends.. she started it though! she tried to attack me when we first met!" Jet barked, a loud yowl was heard from the nursery, Rookie rushed in, "Get Iris and Sparrow, please hurry!" cried Poppy, Jet and Rookie rushed as fast as their paws could take them to Iris, only to find her and Sparrow already gathering herbs, "We heard the call" Sparrow woofed, he and Iris were off. Rookie and Jet waited outside the nursery, Bracken, Logan, Lassie, Sophie, gathering around. "Yes! no more cleaning her moss!" cheered Bracken, "Bracken, aren't you at least happy we have more pups in the kennel?" Lassie chuckled, "Of course!" nodded Bracken, Rookie tried to go check on Poppy, but was pushed out by Sparrow, "Iris doesn't want visitors.. trust me, you should be glad you aren't in there" Sparrow sighed, "Sparrow!" howled Iris, Sparrow ran back in
Heather and Belle hunt.

The Silver Ridge pack lives in an expansive oak forest located in the Silver Mountains. A winding river cuts through their territory, leading through the only entrances to their valley.
They live social lives and love to see new dogs, as they are pretty isolated. Silver Ridge dogs specialize in speed and stealth, which is good for sneaking up on unsuspecting prey and dogs. The pups especially love to do this as they love the look on their pack members faces as they are pounced on from behind. They accept dogs of all manner, as such they are a very diverse pack, ranging from the stocky mountain-dogs to the slim swift-dogs.
