Hardly reacting to Ivyleaf's comforting gestures, Sweetbriar's agony continued to grow. She could no longer wait for Wolfthroat. Their kits were coming now and there was nothing she could do about it. Fade to black...

Despite her exhaustion and the soreness in her body, her six tiny, fragile kits had been born perfectly healthy. There was Mousekit and Poppykit a perfect mix of both her and Wolfthroat; Meadowkit and Sunkit, similar to Sweetbriar; Lionskit and Foxkit that were a perfect cloning of Wolfthroat. She hoped that Wolfthroat would approve of the names when he came back. If. She thought solemnly, then shook her thoughts away with a nodding of her crown. She groomed the casing off her kits, exhaustion numbing her tongue. She felt herself slip into darkness, the suckling of her kits against her stomach comforting..

"I think I'll be more of use... away from here." The tom murmured, steering himself away from the grief-stricken queen Brightfall, and Ivyleaf. Battle wasn't scary; kit-birth was. The leader gazed uncertainly at Echostream, the very thought of her going through another litter, more pain rocking him. He would never put her through that. He didn't mind never having kits, he had to protect Echostream from any more pain.

Storm watched the mysterious she-cat run away, again, and he shrugged. Padding back towards the woods, he uneasily looked around, expecting any moor cat to leap out at him and attack him. He wasn't scared, no; wary. He was strong and tactful, but preferred to avoid fights especially with the moor cats. They were many in number and aggressively protective of their territory.

Bird's dreams were abruptly cut short by a familiar meow. She lifted her cranium, her eyes groggy. Wearily she rose to her paws, stretching out her forepaws until her stomach brushed the leaves that consisted of her den. "Oh, hello." She murmured shyly, licking her mitt and drawing it over her diminutive ears.

echostream was very surprised when sweetbriar went into labor. she could almost feel the pain that she had felt when she had given birth to goldenpaw. she wasn't sure if she wanted to go through that again. she nodded and walked away from the medicine cat den with her mate. she looked up at the sky, wondering if wolfthroat would come back. how would sweetbriar be able to raise these kits on her own? she looked over at gorsestar and sighed. what was he thinking?

lionclaw sighed. he was shameful for what he had done, he couldn't blame anyone but herself for what he had done. for what rosetail had done to him. he smiled at amberleaf. "amberleaf, sometimes i believe that i don't deserve you, i honestly don't know how you put up with me sometimes," he said with a chuckle. he sighed, it was time for him to go get his punishment. he gasped when amberleaf collapsed. "amberleaf!" he screeched. he ran over to her, his heart pounding. he lifted her onto his back and dashed back to camp. he had to get her help.

goldenpaw was surprised by the abrupt change but guessed it was for good reason. she nodded her head. "alright," she said to her mentor. she wasn't one to bicker about things that were so minor.

rosetail nodded. she had planned to leave anyways. "fine," she said to gorsestar. "i just want them to be safe, they couldn't live with me in the forest anyways," she said to them. she didn't know what to do know. to everyone, she seemed like the person who always caused harm and she knew they could never accept her but she hadn't planned to stay anyways.

stormpaw took a few minutes to grab something to eat. he didn't want his stomach growling while he was talking to his future mate! he couldn't make a fool of himself in front of her! he watched as gorsestar and echostream hurried sweetbriar into the medicine cat den. he smirked. this was his cue. he snuck out of the camp and into the shady forest. he looked around, feeling like someone's eyes were on him. "dawnpaw!?" he called out.

"i, um, brought you some moss and feather for your nest," sharpfang said to her, nudging the moss and feather right over to his mate. he then looked up at the roof of the den. he suddenly heard the sound of arguing. "i wonder what they're all fighting about now," he said in a grumpy tone. he wasn't much of a charmer.

Litchpaw made her way back to canp the rabbit still in her jaws. Instantly the smell of birth hit her nose as she neared camp. "Kits?!" her oace suddenly quicken, whos kits where born? How many? The clan will have to start exapnding the dens.... That... Or eventually move the thought made her both shudder and excited. If they where to move it would be one big adventure.... On the other hand... Where could they possibily go.. Surely there would be no place suitible for the clan other then here. Shaking the thought away at the last minute she was to late, her own clumsyness and excitement. Distracted she trips as she enters camp. "Mouse dung!" She spat angerly pulling herself up and shaking her fur out. She grabbed the rabbit which thankfully hadnt gotten dirty.. This was suppose to be a thankyou to duskfall for saving her, but her instinctual duties told her maybe the queen would need it more. She headed over to the smell of kits and the sound of mewling. She walked up to sweetbriar, her eyes widening in astonishment. Six kits! that was a huge litter. Sweetbriar had to be exhausted, "dhe will probably be hungry after somw rest...." She whispered to herself. She walked over. "Congratulations Sweetbriar, they are all very lovely!" She purred. The young shecat placed the rabbit down infront of the exhausted female. "I thought that maybe after some rest you might be hungry so.."

Ivyleaf stared down at the six bundles of fur at Sweetbriar’s belly, their mewling now drowned out by the sound of hasty suckling. Fur prickled with unease at the urgent situation that had just taken place, she offered a smile, ”Congratulations... You are a mother,” Ivyleaf murmured as the queen fell into a deep sleep. The medicine cat purred, leaning down to stroke one of the kits with her tongue before rising to her paws and leaving them to eat. Tail flicking in surprise, Ivyleaf whipped around as the sound of an apprentice caught her attention. Litchpaw had barged in, dragging a plump rabbit. It was surely tempting, but Sweetbriar could not enjoy it. The black furred she-cat adopted a stern look, ushering the young cat out of the den. ”You can’t just enter whenever you please, Litchpaw. There is an exhausted queen inside that lacks the energy to eat or talk, and consumption of anything like that might make her sick. Give her time and let her rest. We don’t have room for curious apprentices right now.”

Litchpaw's ears flattened she took a step back. "I-i was just trying to help..." She stammered. "I didnt barge in i slowly made my way in..." She retorted. "Im not some wild out of control apprentice" she hissed under her breath. The young shecat wipped around and walked off the hair along her spine rose a bit. why did i snap at ivyleaf like that.. She was just doing her job... I fidnt know seeetbriar had just had her kits i havnt been here all day the young apprentice looked to the ground. Her emeraled gaze showing obvious defeat. Shed suddenyly felt... Lonely... biting her lips she got up and was about to head out of camp but stopped to think once more. Should she go check on duskfall.... Well perhaps not maplespots probably wants to be alone with him, hes her mate after all. "Maybe ill just go drop it off to them, they could... Share it.. She grabbed the rabbit that she had succsesfully taken down and headed in the direction of maplespots and duskfall. Once there she dropped the rabbit infront of maplespots. "I thought maybe i should thank duskfall properly, but hes probably tired and ... Well i caught this rabbit to show my gratitude.." She murmured to maplespots.

I was so worried."She said before giving a weak smile, she was overwhelmed with joy. Maplespots wanted to start crying once more, but this time tears of joy. She turned around to see Litchpaw and her good mood had faded. She was about to lash out at the apprentice before remembering she was a clanmate and it was against the warrior code. Why is she so much like Ghostwhisper, ugh. Why couldn't she be a normal apprentice. She thought to herself while Litchpaw padded toward them. Maplespots watched as she placed down the rabbit. Did she really give it to us? Is there deathberries in here! I won't eat it until she takes the first bite. Maplespots studied the rabbit before looking back up at Litchpaw. "Litchpaw, you got it for us. You should have the first bite. I insist."She insisted.

Gingerpaw rushed into camp. Gingerpaw knew he had to ask one of the medicine cat's for mousebile. He was shocked to see that Duskfall was being treated by Ivyleaf, he wouldn't dare disturb the she-cat while she was treating one of his classmates. I wonder what happened to Duskfall. That doesn't matter now. I need to find Brightfall.He thought while he was padding toward the medicine cat's den. He peered into the den, there was nobody their. Gingerpaw felt his tail drop and drag across the ground when he saw that Brightfall was not in the medicine cat's den. Well, I don't need a medicine cat. I think I remember seeing Otterpaw carrying mousebile before, now I just need to find it.Gingerpaw reminded himself. He searched for a mossball covered in mousebile. He found a mossball that he had guess was covered in mousebile. He picked the mossball up and insistently regretted it. Gingerpaw had tasted the most foul taste he has ever tasted, his mouth quivered as he knew he had to have the taste in his mouth at least until he gets into the Elder's den. Gingerpaw quickly tried to rush into the elders den. Once he got there he saw that Rainmask was gone, and there was only a sleeping Troutfeather. Gingerpaw knew he had to be gentle with her after all she was much older then him and he didn't know how easy it was to hurt her. He nudged Troutfeather with his paw carefully to wake her.

litchpaw flinched when she clearly felt the sucspicion in maplespots voice. "Why in starclan would i poison a caf who just risked his own to save my tail and ghostwhispers... Who do you take me for!" litchpaw hissed angerly. Her claws dug into the soil. Why did everyone seem to not want anything to do with her. "I-it took me hours to catch a rabbit i been practicing ever since duskfall was taken back to camp... Its the very first prey i cought..." Does my clanmates not trust me so much... looking down at the rabbit angerly she curled her lips once more. "Forget it my mistake" she spat. I didnt ask for this! the young tabby shecat stormed out of the camp her ears at but tail up trying to show she wasnt defeated.
