Thanks, sunnylover. :) It's just kinda weird sometimes, ya know? Like I always wonder if he finds out I like him, will he think I'm pathetic because I have a crush on a younger guy? It's really kinda nerve-racking. I know I really shouldn't care what other people think, but, come on! Is there really anyone out there who doesn't?

Reasons I think my crush likes me: (Can you give me your opinion?)

001: He always stares at me (in a good way)
002: When my friends ask if he likes me, he doesnt make eye contact with them and doesn't give an answer
003: He teases me
004: When I told him I was going to Homecoming with another guy, (He's in 8th grade and I'm in 9th, so he can't go to Homecoming) he looked sad
005: He is always touching me (Like if we are sitting on the couch, his foot is touching mine)
006: He always looks at me weird
007: He smiles when I smile
008: He gives me LOTS of hugs
009: He's tucked my hair behind my ear more than once
010: He always hangs out with me
011: He's introduced me to his friends (He usually doesnt do that)

Thanks, MadiBird! I hope so. :) I've dated other guys in the past couple years but have broken up with them because I like this guy so much.... I'm sure it'll be like that for a while. The only problem and the only thing holding me back from going for him is that he is my best guy friend. If we date, I'm afraid it'll be awkward between us. And if we break up, I can garentee it will be..... So i'm between a rock and a hard place here. :(

I wish I did, but I have nothing for you. The liking the best friend thing is a hard one.

When we were young the future was so bright
The old neighborhood was so alive
And every kid on the whole damn street
was gonna make it big in every beat.

Now the neighborhood's cracked and torn
The kids are grown up but their lives are worn
How can one little street
Swallow so many lives?

Chances thrown, nothing's free
Longing for,used to be
Still it's hard, hard to see
Fragile lives, shattered dreams

thanks. :) And for good books I recomend "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult (14 and over for some mature content) and the Maximum Ride series, by James Pattrson (AWESOME books!!)
