I don't consider myself an artist, but sometimes I draw for fun. Occasionally, I'll scribble out something I'm proud of, only to find it months later and have my reaction to it be something along the lines of, "Oh god, this is terrible, burn it with fire." Now, considering you have had artwork up on the site for much, much longer than a few months in the form of pets and items... do you experience that? If it were possible, would you want to update any of the old art you've done for CS to reflect your current skill & style?
I have to add though, if any of you guys see flaws in your artwork, I definitely don't! In fact, I was so relieved to come back to this website to find that 1.) none of the art had changed and 2.) it was still just as good as little kid me thought it was.
Thanks in advance, and have a good day!
Not actually a site artist, but seeing as I've made some stuff I might as well answer, too. :3 For the most part I'm still pretty happy with my older items, even if there are some things I'd have done differently now. The only one that I ended up making an update for because the old version was just bugging me too much was the very first item I made (as far as I recall), the fireplace from Christmas 2011:

That one actually has been updated twice, once to switch it to the full version when we gained the ability to move items behind pets (no more built-in cutouts to fit items around the pets), and then a second time later on when it became increasingly glaring to me how much less attention I had paid to the side of the fireplace that had previously been cut out for most of the pets. :b If there was any one item of mine I would update, it would honestly probably be this one yet again, as I still see a lot of problems with it, but if I kept tweaking it until I was satisfied it would probably never stop getting 'updated'. X3 Sometimes you just need to move on and let old things be content as they are.
