Staff Litter Discussion Thread 2017

based on animals; 4/5 have: wings, blue eye(s); 3/5 have: horns)

Tail Edit, Sports, Swirls, Blue Eyes, and the Half Smile! (Also might be partly based off a deer??? or maybe some Katy Perry Inspiration)

2. (Referring to their pup's name) "It's Gelata. May or may not be a ref~"

A Disney Ref maybe??

3. "my dog is not deer related this year :p"
She's probably Katy Perry Inspired! I mean, look at that HAIR. Plus the hot and cold contrast on the hair. The tan has a warmer hue to it while the brown has a colder hue to it!

4. "This is so genius, that it deserves a hint! Though it might be heart to figure out,
even though it's right there."
The little Heart shaped curl on her head. Super adorable btw.

5. "Does your pup grow into it's second stage(aka newborn to pup) within the first 1-2 weeks of september?" "Indeed it does"
This pup grew day 2.

6. "I can say it's not another animal this year. I took a hot and cold approach to my dog this time"
Hot and Cold is a song by Katy Perry so we're following that hint trail -w- ^^Plus a hot and cold contrast on the hair.^^

(in reference to precious darlings group)

She shares things in common with those pets, such as the swirls and colored lines.

We can all agree this is a very classy lady we have here. No way is she going into the water! It'd ruin her hair!

I don't think many people were guessing because you had said your dog had a tail edit but the pup doesn't have the edited tail, the adult does!

The SWIRLS on her design are similar, not to mention the contrast on the cake matches our beautiful doggo here!

She was just the standard three! ^.^

No but you did get points 16 and 18 wrong (she has corrected us on these somewhere...I think in her trade rules or somesuch?)

16 has NOTHING to do with DOVE (I think it was mainly about alice in wonderland/ mad hatter tea party)

18 was a link to the youtube rick roll video...as in just a red herring/ absolute troll

This is why she isnt replying to you...you are totally ignoring the new information and beating a dead horse (that she has SAID is a dead horse) while the bunmy gets away with the carrots.

I do think this is her pup...someone (whether you, me, or somebody else entirely) will need to CORRECTLY link the CORRECT clues to this pup before she will confirm/deny.

I agree. I love natural colors, so you can already assume I love the pets this year. All of them are amazing

@Avianahelena I'm going to steal and apply your thoughts to argue this one as Pluma's:

- "Something in common with the majority of my previous staff dogs" as you mentioned spots, noticeable on this pup, swirls sort of within the tail, I would say teal eyes, little half smile
- Baked alaska, the tail looks a lot like one to me (though I've only google images to go off of lol)
- "Not so heart after all! ...Though I wonder if you would be able to even see it at an early stage." Can't see hearts on this stage so I'm using that as an excuse in that we'll see them later on.
- "Me!" "Or me" both use the bluey-green colour like the eyes on this pup (can you tell I'm not great with colours?). Also they both notably have spots on their faces (like this pup) and stripey markings (though the ones on this pup are a bit thicker).
- "Does your pup have a creative eye color? (eg something else than blue, green or brown)" "That would be a no then." teal/blue/green eyes
- "one specific pattern" the pattern of baked alaska/whatever other hot and cold sweet we might be missing |D
- Coloured lineart & line edits presumably will come later.
- "Wonder what ideas you can get from this~" the glaringly obvious is the "chocolate" text on the dress, but I also had a thought that perhaps "Kan du gætte hvem jeg er" might actually be referring to the person in this photo, though all I can find is that the brand is angelic pretty. Another thought was that it being in Danish might be specifically hinting towards some Danish dessert but I couldn't find anything that is Danish and flambéed |D so my third thought is that it is tying back to that tea party theme.
The dress & cake trims both seem more likely to be one of your pup-guesses, but the back legs of this pup are also reminiscent of the images.

Here's aaron's post from a few pages ago for those who want to update it for the older dog now. I'm not going to because I'll probably mess it up.

This pup dressed up made me think of christmas immediately... I felt warm and excited until I realized we had like 4 months to go
