''Are you sure you want to hear that story, kid?'' Feroz inquired, gazing at the young magon sitting in front of him. ''Duh! Of course I do, cloud-brain!'' She snapped back, the tip of her tail twitching with excitement. ''Alright, alright, you lil' prickly pear. Get comfortable, and I'll tell you."
The firelight danced like small, fiery ballerinas, casting long shadows into the surrounding pines. An owl hooted in somewhere in the night, and moths began to flitter around the two magons. The full moon hung in the sky, basking the small clearing where they had set up camp in silver light. ''It was a silent night, just like this one.'' Feroz began, draping his tail over his paws as he spoke. ''It was a small camping trip in the woods, just like this one. I was out gathering firewood, a long, long, LONG, way from the makeshift camp we set up.''
