I don't know, really. I've always imagining them communicating in a vast array of animal noises that correlate to how they're feeling. They seem to be able to communicate with and understand humans and other animals, based on what we've seen thus far. And I would think that since the ditzis are very young, they'd probably just act like little puppies that can't see. Not very good at handling their senses yet, but they probably do a lot of smelling their surroundings to see what's going on c:
