Appaloosas are such an interesting and diverse breed so i'm always happy to see more of them.
They really aren't a breed, but more of a coat pattern. A Quarter horse can have the Appaloosa markings, yet not be an Appaloosa. It can be double registered, though.

While Appaloosa is a coat patten,it is incorrect to claim they are not a breed. Appaloosa is a true American breed and are recognized and registered all over the world. Their characteristics include: stripped hooves, visible white sclera when the eye is in normal position, and mottled skin. They don't even have to have spots they can also be solid colors as they are not strictly a color breed (though they must have mottled skin in order to be considered).
These have the spots which makes them Appaloosa colored, but time will only tell when they grow up if they contain other characteristics that would make them true Appys. They already have white sclera's (but that may change as they grow) and the middle one appears to have some striping on it's hooves which would lend it to the breed, not the color.
So while my initial comment may end up being false if they just end up with the colors, if they do contain the other characteristics that would lend them to the breed not the color.

I'm totally digging this month's chameleons. I love the black/bright color theme.
They remind me of boiled sweets. Y'know, that hard candy that has all the different swirls of color in it.
They're actually Cuban land snails ^^
Oh
So there still candy
