The cats of RiverClan gathered around the small apprentice. A hushed grief fell over everyone as they mulled over the death of the she-cat. She was an apprentice, and she certainly knew how to swim. They knew it had to be a murder.
"Cats of RiverClan, gather!" StormStar was too grief stricken to even call a proper meeting. "We must... me must find the murderer."
Yowls rose from the group in approvement.
LichenDrop stepped forward, speaking loudly over the other cats. "How shall we go about this?" She personally hadn't wanted to exile an innocent Clanmate, but knew someone was no longer fit to be a Warrior.
Silence suddenly fell over the Clan. No one knew how to accuse anybody. Would they be next if they tried?
Finally a voice broke the silence. "I think AmberThorn should go!" A few more murmurs seemed to agree.
"Maybe it was SpiderPaw?" Another cat suggested.
But majority overruled and AmberThorn was suddenly being interrogated and prodded at.
AmberThorn looked appalled at the accusation. "Why would I have killed her?! She was so sweet! She was the sweetest little cat in this whole Clan!"
StormStar stepped forward through the crowd and approached the warrior. "If we're wrong... we'll send for you. Just tell Barley where you're going before you head off."
AmberThorn lashed his tail. "She was almost too nice sometimes. I had never met someone so nice in my life..." his voice trailed off in thought.
With that he turned around, and headed toward the camp entrance. His Clanmates watched him leave as he headed towards the old Barn where the loner and old ThunderClan cat lived.

"Barley?"
"Oh! A RiverClan cat!" Barley bounded over to him.
"Y-yes. AmberThorn. I was sent on... a quest. If they send for me, I went to where the tall grass by the two legs are."
"Uhm... okay. Good luck." Barley smiled.
So AmberThorn went. Through the tall wheat fields, where the sound of a monster was seeming all around him, cutting up the grass right under it. He didn't find where it really came from until it was too late.

RiverClan never had another problem with cats dying again after AmberThorns leaving, and RiverClan wondered what happened to the old Warrior and what would drive him to murder. They never found out.

Congrats RiverClan! Y'all found the murderer on day one (sorry about my slip up ;n;) best of luck next time as well!

Throughout the years, the clans have
lived in harmony and peace. The leader of Riverclan was a peaceful
tom who believed in protecting all cats in his clan.But as a prophecy
foretold his crippling demise all the clan could feel was fear.. It has now
been moons since the murder of Reedstar, yet his legacy lives
on in his deputy, the new appointed leader.
However, even though the new leader promises the protection of the clan,
it is rumored that the murderer still lingers within the ranks..
Will Riverclan be able to stop them in time, or will they kill again?
