Emerald: Emerald sat up straight, realising that she had fallen asleep against the oak tree. She smiled as Lady nuzzled her again. Then, pushing her western hat backward out of her eyes, she raised them to the rising sun, yawning, and said "well, we better get going if we want to get to the stables by evening hadn't we girl?" She stood up, stretching as did so. Then she picked up Lady's western saddle pad and saddle, slinging them onto her arm, and then onto Lady's back. Then she strapped on her saddle bags, fitting Lady's wesern bridle on top of her halter. Then, with her western hat fitted snuggly on her blonde hair, she grabbed her backpack (which included Lady's cross-country saddle and bridle) and slung it onto her back, making a slight 'oomph' when it connected with her back. After unclipping Lady's lead rope and stuffing it into her pocket, she mounted, heading off into the woods, feeling like an adventurer.

Damien led Thunder into the barn and soon had the stallion tacked up. Pulling himself up onto the horse's back, he gathered up the reins in his hand before pushing the Andalusian into a brisk trot. Looking around him, he ran a hand through his hair before placing his western hat on his head, the brow keeping the harsh sun out of his eyes.

Thunder's ears pricked as he got moving, following a well worn track without thinking much of where Damien wanted to go. The stallion tossed his head up, his forelock falling before his eyes but unable to hinder his vision. Snorting loudly, he looked from one side of the track to the other, his sense of smell picking up the scent of everything around him.

Emerald: Emerald clucked Lady on, which earned a snort accompanied with a small buck to punctuate the statment. Emerald laugh, in high sprits herself. "Come on girl! It's only another five minutes if I'm reading this map right." Lady carried on jogging, but shook her head as if to say 'and when have you ever been able to read a map?' Emerald laughed again, but this time with chagrin. "I was only five miles off, wasn't I? And you needed the exercise. I bucking bronco would have been a better ride! But, I've probably misread the map entirely and we'll end up crashing into someone!" Lady suddenly pricked up her ears, and started prancing along the forest path. "Whoa girl! It's probably a rabbit, again. You've done that so many times, that if it was lion I wouldn't realise until I heared the growling behind us! Your a complete false alarm." Emerald patted her neck, then sat back, ready for the inevitable 'killer rabbit' to appear at the next turn.

Alex lead Missy to the barn. She got her grooming kit, and began grooming her. Alex was expecting another horse that was commit in today. She waited anxiously, grooming Missy as she did so.

Missy stood contetnly, bobbing her head as Alex groomed her.

Dixie ran through the pasture. She was enjoying herself.
