charmer. thief. loan shark. liar. snake. monster. by many names have they been called, and by all accounts, none of them are wrong, but none is quite as satisfying or fear-instilling as ghost. they lurk in the shadows, obscured by darkness and the signature hood they wear. they never share personal details about themself, and no one knows what they look like beneath all those layers and façades. no one knows their real name, doesnt know who they really are, doesnt know anything about them; and ghost likes to keep it that way. after all, in a business like this, you cant be personal. you can have clients, enemies, and "friends" and business partners, sure, but you dont tell them about you, and they dont tell you about them. ghost has learned this the hard way, having gone through several identities and name changes in the past, and in all likeliness, will have to do so in the future. thats just the rules of business, especially more... illegal businesses.

like the rest of their past, ghost tries to forget their old identities. names like 'arjun' and 'chauncey'; those arent who they are anymore. those names are people of the past, people who died, and they dont look forward to ever being called by them again. of course, in the very, very, very rare occasion that some lucky (or rather unlucky, really) kalon manages to worm their way into ghost's heart (and pockets), ghost might just let it slide. once or twice. ghost will consider it an accident, or a privilege, to even know this information. they dont remember it for very long though.

like an angry, vengeful ghost, they haunt this world and its people, looking forward to only one thing; it's complete and total destruction.

she walks with the grace of a ballerina on earth, on angel's soil; but in battle, she charges ahead with the fury of the gods themselves. every footstep echoes in her head, reminds me who she is, in her core. reminds her who her people are. her clan was forged in volcanic ash, flames of draconic beings unlike any mortal had seen, and her own clansmen's blood; she was born in it, and with it, she will die. she lives for the thrill of battle, a calling no man could resist. the sound of her axe instills fear in those who hear it, her voice like an earthquake, making others cower and hide in a desperate attempt to save themselves.

her mind is sharp as her axe, her eyes and ears keen to every little thing, and with a fiery hand, she burns everything she touches. she only does as she is told to, but make no mistake, she is aware. she knows of the corruption and greed of others, how easily many fall into its alluring web of lies and false promises. these riches do not tempt her, no amount of money could persuade her. all she asks, is that they have mercy. people and creatures and places; they did not ask to be attacked. they did not enforce the greed and corruption of an already flawed society. and that is why she rids this world of the plague that has been consuming the earth since day one. mother nature has grown ill, grown weak, but though she may tire, she is not forgotten. chevalier remembers, she remembers and she had devoted her life to protecting the earth mother.

is there was any reason she was brought in to this world, it surely had to be this.
