Burnetwing trotted into camp, a slim carpfish clutched between her front fangs. The shecat enjoyed morning hunting--it gave her something to do while she waited for the rest of her clan to wake. Flicking her tailtip, Burnetwing ducked her head into the nursery. "Good morning, Moonfeather, Shiverkit, Silverkit," she mewed gently. "Hungry?" Burnetwing tilted her head at the queen, offering her the fish.

Shiverkit scrambled up over the other kit, trying to get to the fish. "Burnetwing!, she squeaked. "Did you bring us food? Did you? Did you?" The small cat ran circles around the warrior, mewing and begging for the older cat to train her. "Please, Burnetwing? Can you train me today? I wanna be a warrior just like you!", meowrd the kit, eyes wide and staring up at the she-cat. "Pleaaaaase?"

Stormstar looked around at her clanmates and jumped on great rock. "All cats old enough to catch your own prey please gather," she said. Her ears perked up as she watched her clanmates

"No, you're much too young to train. The big river-fish would eat you right up, not to mention the other clans," Burnetwing chuckled, more to herself than to Shiverkit. "You've got more time to wait. I would say it goes by fast, but it doesn't. Make the most of this time in the nursery, Shiverkit, because when you're bone-tired from hunting all day, haven't eaten yet and then enlisted on the next morning's dawn patrol, you'll be missing these easy days."

Hearing the Leader's call from outside, AmberThorn gave up on trying to wake up Spiderpaw. He figured it would have to wait, and left the fish by Spiderpaw for him to find.

Making his way into the clearing, he sat down near the warriors den and watched as the clan started to gather for the meeting. His gaze drifted to the leader, Stormstar, and he dipped his head in respect.

I wonder why she's calling a meeting. Patrols, perhaps? The tom curled his tail in anticipation. He loved going on patrols, especially hunting patrols. Maybe something's wrong.. His whiskers twitched anxiously. As he heard a few cats whisper that Lilacpaw was missing, he felt his heart almost stop. An apprentice was missing? She is probably just out hunting, or getting a drink.. but from the looks on some of his clanmate's faces he knew that wasn't true. The apprentice was missing. That's what this is about then. Hopefully we'll find her, or maybe she is just out hunting. but the anxiety remained.

foxfall padded up to great rock, confused. why was stormstar calling a clan meeting? he looked at amberthorn,
who was sitting next to him. "what's happened?"



[ voting spiderpaw. in the kill, lilacpaw says the killer's words mean a lot to her. now, this could mean any cat, but it leans towards a tomcat, in my point of view. however, to narrow this down, the killer drowned lilacpaw, which could mean that they wouldn't have any warrior abilities. breezefire is a molly, so while she could be the culprit, spiderpaw is next. he is also around the same age as lilacpaw, which means the kind words could've made it seem like he had a crush on her.


this is just a hunch, i'll need more to develop on it completely, but i'm sticking with my vote. ]

The tom let out a deep sigh. "I think Lilacpaw is missing. At least, that's what some of our clanmates are saying." He glanced around the camp once more, then back to Foxfall. "I think Stormstar is going to gather a patrol to go look for her. I hope she's alright."
She has to be out hunting...right?

Silverkit squeaked in protest as Moonfeather licked her head. Trying t get away she flicked her ears as Burnetwing came into the nursery. "Morning Burntwing! " Silverkit meowed, scrambling to the warrior with Shiverkit.

Cloverpaw/Tom

Cloverpaw padded out of the apprentice's den. Embarrassment rose in his belly as he saw he was one of the last ones to awake, TangleBelly would not be happy with him. He turned to see Burnetwing and Silverkit chatting and decided he might want to join in. "Hey Silverkit, Hello Burnetwing. How are you two?" He asked.
