I think its fun to bake, and this could be a fun project. I also really enjoy sculpting, so I might have to try that marzipan stuff. Is it very expensive, though?

Hi, mods. Just wondering about something.
My friend dropped in some moulding chocolate [it's edible but doesn't taste good XD] and it's brown, so I can't colour it with food colouring. Is this okay? So if I put a mould onto my cake, it'll be brown because I can't colour it to be, say, Avian.

it's up to you how you want to decorate your cake, if you want to decorate it with (brown) molding choc then that's fine

marzipan can be a bit expensive, the packet I used cost around US$4.50

there are recipes to make your own stuff though, but they might work out around the same price if you don't have the right ingredients already. Take a look around the net for recommendations if you're into sculpting, it's probably a cool idea for you, unless you want to make a shaped/sculpted cake instead

not necessarily, but you would score higher if the dog was recognizably 'CS-themed' so if it just ends up looking like a random brown dog then you might want to add some kind of markings on with icing or something

what we're looking for is a CS cake, not a random dog cake

On the submission page, it says 'describe your cake' . . does that mean the ingredients or how it tastes or what it is supposed to look like?
I am a little unsure XD
