I HAVE A QUESTION!

YOUR QUESTION:Does anyone know where I can find more information about the Cornwell et al (2013) study that found women to be better at learning (due to being more 'organised and attentive')? I'm doing some work on gender bias and I'm talking about reverse alpha bias... but all I can find on that study is what I've already written above (and in that much detail too...)
Alternatively if you know a different reverse Alpha bias study that has quite a lot of information out there, that would be of help too

Are you talking about "Noncognitive Skills and the Gender Disparities in Test Scores and Teacher Assessments: Evidence from Primary School"? Does your school or perhaps local library have a subscription that would allow you to access scientific journals? I found that study on the Journal of Human Resources: http://jhr.uwpress.org/content/48/1/236.short If you can log into that journal/page from your school, you should be able to download the pdf and read the whole study.
Through google scholar or whatever your school's journal search is, you should also be able to find papers that cited Cornell, which will include both researchers who agreed and disagreed with the results, which is also good to look through and helpful in finding potential issues/biases in a study.

If that's the study you're referring to. If it's not - well, whatever you read that cited the study should have provided the name of the study in their bibliography/citations, and we can try to find the study through similar means that way.

No citations were provided with the information I looked at- They were flash cards that briefly mentioned the study along with the definition for reverse alpha bias (hence why I had very little information). The links are very helpful, thank you

YOUR QUESTION: Is anyone able to proofread my essay through PM? It talks about the book 'Parvana', a book set in Afghanistan and talks about marginalisation of females (especially the main character).
I literally had to pull an all-nighter for this. It was so last minute and I finished it within an hour at 3am (it's also only 500 words.)
I'd really appreciate any help from anyone who is experienced, is good at writing essays and maybe knows a bit about the Taliban regime. Thanks so much!

Google scholar is a good source to use to weed out blogs and other not-as-reputable sites: https://scholar.google.com/ ^^ You might find some sources documenting the rise of the legend of the Jersey Devil there. Good luck!

Try playing around with keywords and trying different searches. ~ "Jersey Devil existence" ~ brought up this, which looks like it might be pretty good, if it's not already a source you have: http://njs.libraries.rutgers.edu/index. ... le/view/13 And it looks like the pdf is free.

This looks like you're being asked to grade your own work and tell them what grade you got. Did you also get a workbook full of problems to do? One that has answers in the back probably?
