I did something successfully ;o;

Reasons for this being Swiftalu's pup:

"COOLEYES" This dog as heterochromia, which a lot of people would say is cool.
Their pup "Uses the lightest color in the pallet" and the pup has very light coloring.
Hornet and "Bzz-Bzz" The stripes on the tail and the bug like wings.
the "50%" Primary color for the eyes. 50% of two is one and they have ONE blue eye!
Lillian said her pup didn't have a curly tail and it did. You could have said that to throw us off.
This pup doesn't have the base tail.

Okay, so, remove hornet.

Lets look at all the hint, shall we.

1. "my pup uses the lightest color in the palette." - This pup has very light colored markings.
2. Wrote post in code (see hint 2 link)
3. Translates to "Wings No" So, the dog didn't have wings in it's original puppy form, but as an adult it does. Swift never said it would NEVER have wings. It didn't at the time of the hint.
4. "A new hat friend is here, they like hats. They also like glasses." Glasses could be a hint to the eye markings?
5. "Bzz 7/15 Bzz" (Could refer to day9 pup having the 7th and 15th letter of the CS tag a different colour)
6. "They have some sort of tail edit.", Edited Tail.
7. "Are the eyes a primary color?" (RYB) "50% <3" (50% chance of being a primary color or not a primary color) Do I have to scream out that one eye is blue and blue is a primary color? I mean come on 50% of two is one.
8. "Depends what you consider natural and unnatual in the end really"
"My pet has edits, that's really all I will say. It could just be the tail edit I mentioned or it could be more, guess you'll have to wait and see."
"I was inspired by something to make my staff pet, though I didn't base my pet on it."
"To me it's very obvious which is what worries me the most lol."
9. "My pup likes to curl up and sleep, probably."
10. "4 16 16 13 6 26 6 20" in team page description
11. Above translates to DPPMFZFT, which in a shifted alphabet calculator becomes COOLEYES We can all admit the eyes are pretty cool.
12. "Maybe you should look somewhere else for my hint..." in signature
13. "Yhux" (in numbers is 2582124, group idea leading to a group with four dogs with the names "Staff pet", "doesn't", "have", "this", "feature" > staff pet doesn't have the basic tail This dog as an edited tail.
14. "I revealed the name of my dog previously but I guess no one caught it, also maybe you should take another look at that 7/15 hint since there might be other ways to solve it..."
15. Pet named "What am I?" (answer: a hornet) <<<<< Hornet hint is still deemed relevant.
16. "It started with something eye catching in terms of colors... and something that smelled so sweet. Now look how far it's gone. Nope, sorry! You're on your own for this one, good luck!"
17. "Feathers are fun; for scarves, wings, pens, etc. What else could there be...?" in signature
18. "The day my custom grows will not be the day my pup grows." Their custom isn't grown yet.


Anyone else have any ideas?

Has Vampiric claimed or denied this one yet? I feel like this is theirs because of the "mommy it cracked I need a new one" hint. This pup is an old-fashioned doll and later gets cracked line edits all over its body.

--No blue eyes.
--No extra things in the negative spaces.
--Looks to be based on an existing breed like a previous dog, has flop ears, detailed face markings, and blended colors. Deceptively simple pup stage.
--Shares a couple of colors with the Master. (blond and dark)
--Watermark not translucent, but it blends.
--not bald.
--Large dogs intimidating to some.
--If he's marked up more like a st. bernard in a later stage, or if he's a bernie mix (he looks like he could be), the movies might be Cujo and Beethoven.
--design style: dark lines, soft-blended colors.
--Unique feature: as pointed out by (I think) Spearow, he IS thicker through the body than the others--the line of his back and tail are juuuust slightly higher than in the other pups. I double checked myself and though the difference isn't as dramatic as in Spearow's screenshots, it is there.



--No blue eyes.
--No extra things in the negative spaces.
--Pricked ears like previous pup; thick-looking coat like a previous dog.
--As observed by someone in a previous guess, this one has blond, dark, and red like the Master.
--Watermark is not translucent, but it does fade into different colors to match the dog closely.
--Not bald.
--Gentle and sweet/cuddly-looking, but red eyes and/or wolfy coat might frighten some.
--He's rather husky-like, which makes my guesses for the related movies Balto and The Thing.
--Curly tail looks like it's a bit fluffier than normal pup tails.
--I suspect that ruff of fur at his throat to be a unique edit.


I don't have a third guess this time. These are the only two that stand out to me.
In one of your recent posts, you alluded to the lineart changes being subtle, so I've gone with that.
This is it. This is all I've got. After this I'm totally out of ideas.

@ Schuyler, I might try to guess a little later if no one else puts in a proper effort, but to be honest I'm not as familiar with your hints as I am with a certain two others, so I'm afraid I'll have to work directly off the hint chart or do some actual research and hold off till tomorrow.

@ everyone else, Swiftalu has already told us (I think more than once) that the Hornet reference is to a drawing in their gallery, not the winged insect.

I tried to go against my usual style for the pup stage, so he's going to change somewhat in his colouring and markings once he matures. Fair warning, he's not an Anatolian Shepherd (they're awesome dogs, but I'm not a big fan of fawn in general) or really any one breed in specific, but there is one breed that contributed significantly to his look and it has been mentioned at least once in thread. :3

Oh ho ho. :3 Leaving my hoard name as Anatolia after the pup stage then. Excited to see what he looks like as an adult *_* Wonder how hard dressing him will be. I hope he has a majestic tail.
