I remember the old pound... Going through about 57 pages of pets looking for one you'd didn't think you had maybe... *sigh* Those were the days... When you traded for pets you wanted and didn't worry about the rarities... I trade a VR for an uncommon DX I was such a newbie... I remember the REALLY old layout...

I remember when you had to hope that the pet you were offering wasn't in the other persons groups. I also remember when people were scrambling for rainbow manes, and evil pps. I thought they were all crazy, because I had just joined.

Well, I joined in 2008, and guess what? I'm pretty sure that back then THERE WERE NO ADOPTION LIMITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, one of the things I remember most was the simple fact that there were very little people on the site compared to now. I remember when everyone had seen everyone on the forums once or twice.

I remember that too. =) And then everybody was like, "This puppy on the pound button should be an actual pet!" and then some had to explain to them that it was the coon tail. XD

That's difficult. As of now, no. It's taken me a looong time just to get to where I am now. I screwed up in the beginning though. I didn't adopt all the pets and I gave them away and then I traded away my Joker and this one person kept ripping me off when I was a newb. Man, I was the biggest newb, it's almost embarrassing. XD

Bahaha, I remember the old Archive. I would get really annoyed because I wanted to figure what pets I was missing and the archive wouldn't be updated for the past couple months or so. xD

I remember when the wishlists didn't exist, and people would have to hand make wishlists. I remember spending hours trying to make a wishlist on MS Paint, but I gave up because it was way too much of a hassle.

I also remember when the 2nd Gens used to always be available and I was really lazy about adopting them all. And when the horses and cats were always available as well. Those were the times. xD

I was so ripped off when I was noob. This one person took all of my PPS because they convinced me that they weren't worth anything and nobody wanted them, so they were adopting them. -_- I wish I could slap my noob self. I'm still looking for some of those pets I lost.

One thing that really hit me, was that I didn't have internet access for like 6 months (about the second half of 2010), and now suddenly a bunch of pets that used to be commons or uncommons that everybody had and barely nobody wanted, are now rares and tons of people want them. xD It's still really hard for me to consider '09 pets valuable because I remember adopting those pets and having tons of them.
I'm kind of sad that I didn't bother trying to get all of the '08 pets in '09. They're so much harder to get now. :C

Yup, I remember that and that they put down the adoption limit just before I started adopting pets from the 2nd gen litter (the one with the winged purple halloween as the father/mother). And that after I found out you could get the green winged dog from the litter I tried to adopt as many as possible to get one. :< But I didn't so instead I had a ton of the green and purple swirly dogs which I've traded away and I only have 1 left.

And I remember when the trade board had quite a few people asking for the red rose PPS/red rose. But I never saw one looking for the blue rose and that there was a really big Rose PPS army. xD Those were the days.

And I remember when I thought the butterfly wolves were really pretty and worth a lot and when I went on the forums they were so common people didn't really want them and that the pound was full of warrior cats/2nd gens/horses.

I remember being so excited when this pet was released because it was the first CS pet I had before it became the actual adopting site it is now, it's my sentimental pet for that reason! n_n

I miss the simplicity of the old days but I still love the site, I severely regret the hiatus I took! x[
