even as a young girl, emma dreamed of the spot light. she's always wanted to see her name written in the brightest
lights. maybe she could've been a singer, an actress, a dancer.
but emma fell in love with one thing; contortion.

Emma's family isn't even sure where she learned about contortion, but they never heard the end of it. It wasn't long
before they put her in dance, thinking it would help. Emma did dance for a few years but just could not get past
her idea of being a contortionist, so she ended up quitting and self-teaching herself how to contort her body. When
she reached high school she met her biggest fan and supporter, her best friend Lux. Lux helped her to arrange
performances for friend groups and encouraged her to participate in the talent show.

Something Emma struggles with is hate. When she was in grade 12, someone had asked her why she never did
anything different. It was always same old contortion. Emma took it harshly, but Lux helped her through it. Lux had
no problem with people insulting her and helped Emma do the same. Emma also encouraged Lux to take up
contortion so now they also do performances together.

A secret Emma has kept from everyone she knows is how much of a massive nerd she is. She loves to play video
games and also do math. She did quite well in school because she enjoyed it and had good study habits. She
doesn't like people to know about this because she feels its too different from her performance self. When shes
performing, Emma puts on this quirky attitude that makes people laugh. She believes that a nerd, for lack of a
better term, is too different from that. She tries to put on her performance self every time she is in public.

Emma is quite open with her smaller following. She keeps them in the know on whats happening. They all know
she's asexual and she struggles with hate and she believes thats a good thing. She likes that they are all very
understanding of her and will often sympathize with her.

It's quite different from Lux, who has a stage name and self but her private life is completely separate. No one
besides Emma really knows what's going on with her and Emma respects that. She always keeps details of Lux's
life out of her fans ears.

At home, away from the spotlights and crowds, she's really loud. The odds of her needing something and actually
walking to you to ask are slim. She'll usually just yell across the house. She's actually really lazy too, and she
usually eats microwave meals. She sometimes will bake, if she has the ingredients. She has what she refers to as
a "baking problem," meaning she usually says, "Why not?" and bakes way more than she meant to. Lux loves this
"problem" because it means a much larger supply of cookies in the house.

One of Emma's flaws is that she can be quite judgy. She never says anything out loud, but she always judges how
people dress or act in her head. She hates how much she judges others, but she's done it for so long she can't
break the habit.

Another of her flaws is she is really dishonest. This goes hand in hand with how much she judges others. She
never wants to make others feel bad, so she'll lie about her opinions so they believe she thinks that. She also tells
little lies all the time, like, "I'd love to go but I have plans tonight," or "Oh no Susan, your child is an angel."

Lastly, Emma always makes an effort to be the best individual she can be. Holding doors for people walking behind
her, donating old clothes, or giving her neighbours cookies, anyway she can be a better person. She firmly believes
in karma.
