The older woman smiled. "you're welcome hun. Probably your first decent meal in a while, huh?" She had finished up her food and started to clean up. Packing the leftovers in small containers and putting them into the fridge. "how about dessert in 20 minutes boys?" Shane shrugged. "I still have to go to the market for somethings." he spoke, getting up and giving his plate to his mother. He kissed her forehead, saying "the food was delicious. thank you." he gave her a small hug and cleaned off the table.

Jessica heard footsteps approaching her and she looked back to the male. "Careful with her. She might look sweet but she can do harm." she shook out her fur and stood up, stretching out her legs. It was time for her to stretch her legs outside but she was going to head in the opposite direction of the mountain. "Care to join me for a run." she asked.

Castiel chuckled. "Yeah, had a feeling. Old ladies never seem to be just old ladies. They always seem to have something hidden,"
he said and sighed. He shouldn't have let his guard down like that, and would be more careful now. He looked at Jessica. "Sure.
Run ahead and I'll join up," he said, quickly stretching his limps. He was quite itching to change and run for a bit, get out of the house and smell the fresh air of the mountain.

"I'll be back mom." Shane said and opened the door for Jessica to go out. "If you want Jessica to come back the controller is in the drawer but just call her name, she'll come back." He kissed Jessica's head and left, leaving the door open. He hopped in his truck and drove into town.

Jessica took off the porch and started running towards the tree line parallel to the mountain. She loved running, even as a puppy. Though she was now curious as to what Maria knew about her.

Castiel watched her go and smiled. He took a few steps outside, changed and ran after her, dashing for the tree line siding the mountain. He smiled, feeling the dirt and taking in every smell as a wolf. No matter how hard it had been leaving his family, he couldn't really complain. He liked being a wolf better than being a human, and generally chose to stay in wolf form for quite long times. He quickly caught up with the young female, running beside her.

Jessica continued on, focusing on the trees. She was quick but when running long distances, she had paced herself. So she could run as far as she pleased. Wondering when she would turn had made everything uneasy. Being around Shane and others wolves. What if she hurt someone by accident? She was becoming trapped in her thoughts once more that she misplaced her foot on a pile of leaves, that did look a little suspicious, and fell a few feet down. The wolf hit the bottom with a yelp as she felt a metal click under her foot, driving into her skin. "Castiel!" She cried out. Trying to stand up made the pain worse on her paw. It had caught her front left paw and blood was already oozing around the fur. "Castiel! Help!" She cried again, tears beginning to slide down her muzzle.

Von had been taking a nap in a near by tree when he heard a ruckus and Brahn start howling with a tormented aggression. It was a sound the young warrior knew well. He dropped from the trees shifting as he fell and landed on is paws. He headed towards the direction of the howl. He stopped several paces in front of Brahn. He saw the distant look in his eyes and knew from that that the other warrior's concionse was no longer in the same relm as his physical being. "Brahn!" He snapped. "It isn't real. Whatever you are seeing. It is not there." He tried not to growl as he spoke but it was just the way he spoke anymore.

Oliver growled low as the man walked up towards Mikael. He did not like anyone just walking up on her and he made that perfectly clean. "It is not a smart move walking up one someone who's partner could kill you in three seconds flat," Mikael said as she took another shot of one of the historical buildings. She listened to him as he spoke. Finally, she turned around to look at him. "My fees vary depending on what my photographs will be used for. If I don't like your pitch then I'll just tell you to sod off." She said as she set a hand to Oliver's shoulder. "Easy."

Novak had been heading back to the cabin that he scarcely used when he heard Brahn howl. Without hesitation, he changed his cores and picked up speed. He leaped over downed trees and after a few moments, he exited the brush beside Brahn. He used one of hi paws as a catch to swing his larger form around to face Brahn. "He knows that Von," Novak told him. "Go and tell Triko that I need a few war packs," he told the Warrior. War packs were the herb mixture that Triko had come up with to help with the 'severe' PTSD and other things that came from a life of war. Novak stood before Brahn, not as an alpha but as his friend.

Brahn's head turned in Von's direction as Von snapped at him. His ears perked forward and hearing the aggressive tone in the young warrior's voice, reacted. His muscles tensed and he lunged himself towards the young warrior. He was not aware of what his body was doing but in his mind, an enemy soldier yelled out at him and in the world that he was in, it was a 'kill or be killed world'. He snarled dangerously but skidded to a stop when something jumped into his view. Brahn reacted and he turned to snap at Novak but bit down on pure air and his bared fangs stopped next to Novak's muzzle. Something that was common with Brahn whether he was in the real world or not, he never directly attacked anyone usually purposely missing unless they proved themselves to be a major threat. Brahn held onto honor so strongly that even during his attacks, his high sense of honor would not allow him to openly attack another person or wolf. He turned his head towards Novak. He could hear Novak's voice but in the world that he was trapped in, Novak's voice was but a faint whisper in his conscious. He snarled and he snapped at Novak again but this time in frustration and once again, snapping at the air, his fangs bared, stopped next to Novak's ear, only a deep snarl left Brahn's raised lips. He wanted to fight, to defend himself but he also wanted desperately to be pulled out of the world that his mind trapped him in. His ears rotated and he flinched at the sounds of Von's paws in the snow and the sound and feel of the gentle breeze in the wind. He glanced down at his paws and realized for the first time since his attack started that they felt wet. A slight look of confusion crossed his face. In his mind, the dirt was dry and hard but his feet felt wet. A small sign that Brahn was in some way, still in the real world.

Matthew blinked in surprise at the young lady's blunt words and he glanced down at the world. "Well shouldn't something that can kill me be out in the wild somewhere or put down?" he retorted before he looked back up at the young lady with a slight smirk. He liked her straight forward attitude. "Business marketing." He replied simply. "I have a nice lodge where people and tourist can come in, relax and enjoy the scenic view of what this beautiful town has to offer. If I can put a picture to my business, it would help with marketing. You know, bring more tourist in and make the city more money. Like I said, it nothing dramatic."

Ruka pretended to wipe her forehead in relief, "Good, we are already got grumpy old birds on the mountain, we didn't need an grumpy old vulture hovering around town." She rolled her eyes at the thought, one of those stupid eagles and dove at her earlier this morning and she spent the rest of the morning walking around and attempting to catch an older bird. She managed and had bird for breakfast. Ruka whined and bit her lip thinking about chicken wings, "Just thinking about that makes me hungry...." She whined, "I want lunch now, stupid wolf sized appetite..." She whispered with a pout.

Kain shook his head. "Then order something to eat." He set his cup back down as the waitress came to refill it. "I'll pay for your lunch so just order." He told Ruka. Kain did not mind buying her a meal.

Von was posed to attack if he needed to. However, when Novak came to the sean he stepped back. He nodded and reluctantly took off to track the old healer. He did not much care for Triko but he would do as his alpha aked.
