Marina unsheathed her blue claws. She looked away, embarrassed that the cats might laugh at her. She then looked up at the cats, flexing her blue claws. "It depends... Is the other one a rouge, or not?"

Twistedface hesitated before answering."Shes a loner and she would never hurt another cat."she answered before suddenly spotting her sister."Hi Blackfoot!"she purred, looking over at her sister."This is my sister."she added, so that Marina could know. Just then she noticed the she-cat had blue claws."Nice claws! They really stand out."her voice was friendly and not teasing."It makes you stand out."

She looked down at her blue claws, blushing and sheathing them quickly. "Why is a Clan-Cat hanging around a loner?"
Marina asked, obviously confused. "Why aren't you fighting her? I thought clan cats always attacked loners and rouges.."

Twistedface shook her head."No, were not that hostile. Tiqua is my best friend, I would never hurt her!"she was shocked at first, not expecting to hear a question like that. Then she remembered the rumors that rogues and kittypets spread."Some clan cats may act rude, but some are really nice."

Twistedface looked over at her sister, not sure on how to comment at first."Blacktuft, calm down."she started, though she didn't want to provoke her sister."Not all loners are so bad. Perhaps you should talk to this she-cat calmly before you decide if you hate her or not."she suggested calmly, still trying to avoid and argument.

She continued to talk. "Since I'm not on your territory, I'm not technically a Tresspasser. But you are. You're no longer on your own territory. Logic, I guess.."

Skip nodded, and she couldn't help but smiling at her new friend's enthusiasm. As they entered the camp she had to blink a couple times. "It's incredible!" she breathed, the pain in her chest forgotten. Cat's were milling around, grooming each other, or happily gossiping here or there. "Are there more of you than this?' she asked nervously. There were a lot of cats, and some of them cast uneasy or even hostile glances her way. She was grateful when a tom her age at least said hello. He returned and seemed unusually optimistic about a loner. She watched him exchange a few words with Pigeonpaw and then dart away happily. Screwing her nose up slightly she ate the herbs, the thick golden liquid made it better, but she could still taste the bitterness.

Cloudpaw was coming back into camp from hunting, and he noticed the strange scent of a loner and quickly caught sight of the russet she cat. He blinked in surprise with how scrawny and sickly she looked. Taking note of her awkward back leg he quickly mewed a brief hello and walked by to put his sparrow on the fresh kill pile. Returning to Pigeonpaw he asked, "Your'e just trying to clear the whole forest of loners, aren't you Pigeonpaw?" the bengal teased lightly, his eyes trailing over Skip's pelt skeptically. The tom had an odd knowing of herbs and quickly mewed, "I can hear her wheezing all the way from the border! I'll go fetch some herbs, I'm sure the medicine cat won't mind since she'd do it anyway." Cloudpaw left quickly and entered the medic den cautiously, peeking around for the small green catmint leaves and the yellow flower of coltsfoot he put a dab of honey on the flower to soothe her throat. Picking these three up in his jaws carefully he made his way back, his mouth watering. He returned to his clanmate and the loner and set them down at her paws. "Eat these, it will help so you can rest easier and help that wheezing. Cloudpaw didn't admit it, but he wished he could be training to be a medicine cat instead of a warrior.
