"You can tell your sister." said Matthew. He picked up the gun and walked off.

"Tell me what?" She asked

"Yeah, what's going on?" Fenris asked.

Night looked at the ground then looked up "Matthews not our dad"

"WHAT!" Aura cried out.

"You heard" Night replied

"But he must be... he has to be... if it isn't him, then who is it?" Aura asked.

"I don't know" Night said, there was a long silence before Night broke it "But he's not half the father that Matthew is, no matter what Matthews still our father, he's always been here for us, our real father never was"

Matthew dropped the gun and turned to the pups. "I'm sorry kids."

"Your still our father no matter what" Fenris demanded.

"You guys will understand some day that thats not true." said Matthew. "You have no idea what I just did."

Eternity trotted towards the river, she whined softly, she felt dizzy, and sick, she lay by the river and closed her eyes, she listened to the musc of the river's currents.


"No matter who you are, No matter what you do your still our father, and that's something you'll understand... one day" Night said.

Matthew smiled slightly. "Some day we'll both understand each other." he said. Matthew turned around and saw Eternity by the river. He picked up the gun and went over to Eternity. "You alright?" he asked, laying the gun on the ground.

"I doubt you'll understand me, I don't even understand me" Night joked remembering the rainbow insident.


"Yeah, I'm fine, just feeling a bit ill, that's all" Eternity replied.

Matthew lay down beside Eternity. "In what way?"

"Just... ill, dizzy, that's all" she said, Eternity shifted her weight onto Matthews side and placed her head next to his.
