I honestly love the concept of this character, but I feel like the design itself needs to be improved. Maybe make all the colors either vibrant or dull (dull would make more sense given the little bit of information you provided). Try moving the leaf and the mushroom closer to the tail so it's all kind of in one place, and add a few more plants, maybe even a few that are wilted or dead. I love the pastel green and the tan, however, and I think the antenna is super cute. Really cool concept, just needs to be a little more refined. c:

Vex is very upbeat and happy most of the time, always bubbly and looking to make friends or have someone to talk to. She's a bit sensitive and sometimes has trouble taking things too personally, whether it's criticism, jokes, sarcasm, etc. She also has a large temper if aggravated enough and will go out of her way to show her distaste towards someone or something. Despite that, she still has a huge heart and cares very deeply for those she's close to, though sometimes she can be blinded by her admiration for others.

Honestly, I love her! She has a great personality and is fairly dynamic, which certainly adds to her character. She is, obviously, fairly simple but I don't think that takes much away from her! I love her jewelry and I think her design is interesting, though it doesn't quite grab my attention? I just prefer when there's at least one marking OR attribute of their species that really is dragged out and brings focus to them.

I really love this bab! They look really good, but I think the colours need to be more clear? If that makes sense? The colours are hard to make out ^^.

She's pretty sassy and confident on how she looks.. so yea haha. She's one of my main characters :> the things around her front leg and tail are vines, as well as flowers growing on them :>

4/10 i don't really like how bright green is her main color. and that spot of pink doesn't really fit in at all. i think if you made her colors more pastel instead of almost neon, she'd look a lot better. i do like the vines and flowers, though.




this guy? they're still a huge WIP so any name/gender/design suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

here's what i have of their backstory so far;
they used to be bright and colorful, and covered in plants that were more lively and beautiful. the forest they lived in slowly started to die out, as well as the plants that grew on them. they became ill, and after a long battle of just trying to stay alive, they managed to survive, but their beauty was gone.

Okay, I can point out some problems pretty quick but honestly I fell in love with the concept as I saw them around on this forum. Like, to the point where if you gave me permission I would totally send you some doodles. I like the concept and the blue and brown a lot but I dislike how the brown and green blend together a lot? I also feel like some of the white markings could be more "natural" appearing since they are nature themed. Some of the plants seem generic too since there are crazy neat fungus and flowers. But seriously, overall I love em and feel free to PM me if you wouldn't mind me drawing some free ol art.

I really do love her, but you asked for some ideas, so maybe some whiskers like eastern dragons, or maybe thin wings with leathery and holey wings. Maybe some spindly and long spikes, the tails might look good with scales or fur on it, as those two are on the body but the tail is plain and out of place without an aspect that connects it with the rest of the body.
Don't change the pallet, that is perfect!



Aspen was created when his parents found out they couldn't have a child together. They were both very into magic so made him, a tree golem. They never told him, so he is always afraid as the why he has moss and bark growing over him and he is too nervous to ask his parents, or even assume that it might have something to do with the fact that his parents use magic for everything.
He has bark growing on him because technically his amulet is insufficient and can't keep certain aspects of his real form hidden

I only have a problem with the design like........ I know it's probably how the snake looks irl but........ I never liked how the spots were;;;; but it's a snek so it almost cancels out..... I LOVE HER SHES A GOOD BABY

Super cute character! The color palette is very original and all her floof is very cute. My only issue is that I'd appreciate seeing some orange on her tail.

okay this is totally my personal opinion, because i know a lot of people who would adore this character <3 i do love the fish tail, and the artist who made it is very talented ! the thing that bothers me the most is the crystals that look like it's jammed into the character and now it's bleeding- a goopy green substance ? the design is a little too simple for my tastes ( even if i love simple characters ) and the overall purple ish color isn't really my cup of tea, but i do really like the details of the crystals, and the anatomy for this character looks pretty spot on
