Have you ever heard the tale of an old, peaceful Clan that was never disturbed by the originals? Well, Scarletclan is that Clan. The original Scarletclan was formed by peaceful Loners and Kittypets that came together to work as one until Warriors seeking refuge from the hostile life as one of the Clan cats of Shadowclan, Windclan, Thunderclan, and Riverclan. The only threat to this Clan is the increasing activity of nearby Twolegs, but none of the Warriors are that worried about it.

Now, though, the threat has increased; a new Bloodclan formed by two Rouges, a Loner, and the captured Hawk(ice) is a little ways off of Scarletclan, and poses new threats such as death and battles to the Clan and its cats.



Territory

Scarletclan is located in one of the most relaxing areas of the forest; it is underneath the nearby mountain range, but yet is partially in the forest and partially near the large lake known as Moon Pool. All of the dens are, strangely enough, the nearby crevices of the mountains, giving each cat a large space to rest, along with a warm one during the horrible Leaf Bares. The Hunting grounds are the thick forest located on the outskirts of Scarletclan, along with the lake; plenty of fish swim through it all season long. The main prey of the forest ranges from small songbirds, squirrels, plump mice, and even vole. Meetings between the Leader and Clan are always held on the High Rock, or a small peak that is on the outskirts of the mountain range that the Clan has named Blue Ridge, or as they heard one of the Kittypets call it.

Swiftpaw looked at the Tom, Rushpaw, a bit dumbfounded; did he not just see the commotion that went on between Wolfhowl and Hawkice? Swiftpaw opened her mouth to speak, but Bristlepaw had already answered for her. "Did you check the Oak tree near Moon Pool?" he asked, tail twitching to the large tree with two, faint cat-like shapes near it. "I bet you that is Wolfhowl and Hawkice; Hawkice is probably pestering him." A soft chuckle escaped from the Tom, and he looked at Silverpaw. "Silver, I don't think that your mentor is anywhere near," he shrugged. "Just from a glance around the Clan, though."

Ravenfrost watched his two brothers, Hawkice and Wolfhowl, bicker; of course Wolfhowl was the winner. He laughed at the two and turned to leave them be as Wolfhowl climbed down the tree, making his way to the Medicine Den and poking his head inside. "Sablepaw, Shadowscar?" he called out, unsure if they would answer him. "Would you happen to have some Cobwebs? I heard from Singeflare that Mockingjay has got herself caught into some sort of a pair of metallic teeth." His gaze shifted to the panicking Tom known as Singeflare that had ran to his side. "Hurry! I think the twolegs are coming!" A small rustle could be heard from the back den, and a drowsy ebony She-cat appeared from the dark shadows, cobwebs filling her jaws. "Here," she muffled between them, and placed them in front of Singeflare.

{THIS WAS MOVED TO MAKE ROOM}

Wolfhowl silently gazed upon the mountains, or more widely known as Blue Ridge, on top of the great Oak tree that rested somewhat inside of the main Clan grounds. Of course, though, his soft focus had switched from the beautiful scenery to his annoying, rambling brother known as Hawkice, which of whom was at the base of the tree. "Hey, hey! Wolfhowl! Can you hear me? I wanted to know if you were up for a Patrol because I would set one up for y-" To end the Tom's rambling, Wolfhowl had snapped a weak but heavy twig to fall down upon Hawkice, and the dark ginger rubbed the top of his ears annoyed. "Now, I don't know why they picked you and your nonsense over Ravenfrost," he called down, and began to climb his way down the tree. Won't someone make him end already?

A small, light gray She-cat began to stumble her way out into the light, milky blue eyes staring straight ahead; Silverpaw was blind, and has been since birth. Her dark gray tipped ears flicked to the sound of Swiftpaw and Bristlepaw rambling on about how the other had done something wrong; the usual. Silverpaw's heavy, irritated sigh filled the air and the two Apprentices turned to her wide eyed. "Morning, Silv!" the black tabby called out, making her way towards the younger Apprentice. "Do you need any help?" "No, Swiftpaw, I am fine," Silverpaw grumbled. She disliked with all of her heart how she was treated like a mouse-brained kit because of her eyes.

Rushpaw nodded and meowed a quick thanks before turning around and padding towards his mentor. He was just about to speak, but something else caught his attention, What? Twolegs are coming? He wondered and turned in the direction of the Medicine Cat's Den, Did I hear that right? and he shook it off for the moment so he could speak to his mentor, "Uh, Wolfhowl, I was going to ask about training today, but..." the Apprentice trailed off as he glanced back at the Medicine Cat's Den.

Sablepaw and Spiderpaw looked up at the Warriors, "What's going on? Where is Mockingjay now?" the young she-cat asked and padded up to Singeflare. The ebony Tom didn't want to interfere, but he was just as concerned as all the others. He kept his ears perked and listened intently to what the Tom had to say.

Upon hearing the mixture of arguments, mews, and grumbles, Rushpaw perked his ears and glanced over at the pair of apprentices that were talking amongst themselves not that far off. He was originally going to find Wolfhowl to see what training they would do today, but he couldn't find his mentor. Maybe they know where he is. He thought and trotted over to them, "Hey, Bristlepaw, Swiftpaw, and Silverpaw." he greeted with a nod to each one and sat down in front of them, "Have any of you seen...or heard, Wolfhowl anywhere?"

Limping towards the Medicine Cat den was a ebony Tom known as Spiderpaw. He hobbled over and peeked his head into the den, "Shadowscar? Sablepaw?" he called and padded deeper in. Sablepaw perked her head up and saw the Apprentice standing in the den. She padded over to him with a stray Nettle Leaf clinging to the back of her pelt, "Is it your paw again?" she asked in her soft voice. Spiderpaw nodded, "Yeah, do you have any Poppy Seeds?" but the she-cat replied with a mere shrug, "Sorry, I don't know. Let me go on and check." and she padded towards her supplies. She rummaged through the herbs and finally found a few leftover seeds. Carefully, she took them in her mouth and padded over to the hurt Tom and set them down in front of him, "Here you go." she mewed and smiled. Spiderpaw nodded and licked up the seeds with his rough tongue and swallowing their familiar bitter taste.

[Noctali]

Wolfhowl shook his head slowly. "Rushpaw, it seems they already have enough Warriors to go. If you want to start training, just let me know what you want to start off." "Hey Wolfhowl, we could always start a Patrol and take him along." Wolfhowl closed his eyes, trying to concentrate so he wouldn't take his anger out on Hawkice. "Look, Hawkice, if we wanted you to start a Patrol, Moonstar would have asked you to set one up. You clear?" The Tom blankly stared at Wolfhowl, nodding his head quickly.

Shadowscar, after dropping the cobwebs, had retreated back to the dark shadows of the den. "We-well, we were all hunting, the three of us, and she went to chase a squirrel. What we di-didn't expect her to stumble across was a gleaming, metallic thing with sharp teeth outlining the ridges. We called out to her but it w-was too late; she had already fallen into the mouth, it's metallic teeth clamping down into her waist." Singeflare began to impatiently flick his tail; sitting there and telling a story could be just the thing needed to cause Mockingjay's death.

Rushpaw glanced between the two brothers before settling on Wolfhowl, "Well....we can start off on areas I need work on." he meowed and sat down on his haunches. He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice his fiery-pelted sibling crawling up from behind and pouncing on top of him, "Foxpaw, get off!" the tom yowled and tried his best to shake his brother off. The other Tom merely chuckled and climbed off, "Got 'cha again, Rushpaw!" Foxpaw boasted and held his head high. The Apprentice on the ground narrowed his eyes on his kin and pushed himself up with a huff.

Sablepaw nodded and turned to Shadowscar, "This would require Comfrey, Poppy Seeds, and Cobwebs, correct?" she asked her mentor before turning to face Singeflare, "Let us gather our supplies then take us too her." she instructed. It wasn't her place to call the shots, but in situations like this, she could really care less about it.

Wolfhowl rolled his eyes at the two Apprentices, and glanced over at the retreating Hawkice. "Well, I say we need to improve on your climbing skills. Last training session with climbing didn't exactly... Work." A rare laugh escaped from the Tom, and he stood up. "Or, if you really want to, we can go onto a Patrol." This comment made Hawkice spring back to them, a wide smile on is face. "I could help with hunting," he mewed, tail swishing softly.
