@Atwood - in the very first pages you gave us some cryptic hints referring to the pet groups with seemingly random letters in names

I can string these out now, and see what letters come up, Atwood's is the one that I know will be big.

Also to any staff who would like to give a hint?
Does the adult stage of your dog have drastic changes compared to the pup stage? For example, this pup to this dog? Or will the outcome be very similar to the pup, just bigger and a few more markings/details?

@atwood Does your pup's name have any significance regarding its design? And are the eyes a colour used from the palette, or your own colour?

I've also got a jayfrost theory in the works so @jayfrost, would you say your hint is related to Samwise in any way?

So we've all been thinking this is probably Lacuna's pup, yeah?

"I hid the sun" could very much refer to the moon hiding the sun in the eclipse and that makes total sense, but here's something else to think about:

Take a look at the eyes of Lacuna's previous middle stage dogs. Compare that to the "regular lineart" for the eyes:

So you can see that Lacuna does a single pixel for light, which would match up with the moon pup, if only for one thing: if you look really closely, the moon pup has the lighting over the pupil itself, whereas Lacuna's pups have the lighting over to the side. There are a couple of artists who use the same dot method for lighting, but there's one more recent person that does:

And to match it up with previous hints, there is one pet of jayfrost's that you could almost say was.. soaring

and good old Samwise has some lovely sparkles behind him that remind me of one of our pups so far!!

Bernouli's ungrouped pets include all of September's adoptions, but they're all unnamed besides these two - the first of which both has a dark nose (as per their "dark nose" hint) and also could relate to their "oriental" hint as it resembles a shiba inu from Japan (curled tail, light spots over eyebrows, natural colours, etc).

Seasonal's ungrouped pets contain the '17 staff litter but only one is named, called "SECOND ADOPTED PET OF THIS MONTH" - which, if reeeaaally focussing on the number two, could mean their pup grew on the second day. On the contrary, their group "114. September 2017 contains the staff litter outcomes that have grown so far and only one is named.

I'd like to point out that the only reason these pups are named is because they had to trade for them from other users, and the other users seem to have all of their pets named random things like this.
That's why only some of mine are named too.
Edit:: the "second adopt this month is a different story though. But as for the random names, yeah.

Yeah, Seasonal's was one of the few with reeeaaally stretching connections, but I felt so good about Bernouli's. Oh well!

I'm too lazy to do that this year because I named like 10 pets things in hiragana last year and barely anyone noticed I think lol... I don't really remember... I also didn't even know I had two staff pets with names till you mentioned them.... xD

Think you guys have me confused with idiot me of previous years: I won't be collecting my outcome this year, at least until it's known.
Remember: Some of what I do, I'm being a normal person. That doesn't stop for the staff litter.

And if that's the case and by the chance yours has grown I'm guessing this is yours



Because I feel like the shading of the colors reminds me of some of your older pets. Example being last years deer you did for Hanukkah
