If it's the person I think it is, they have no good pets left and only have a handful of dogs that aren't 2nd Gens. I imagine they thought that if they accepted the trade for a bunch of their pets, they would get a bunch of good pets in return in a separate trade. In this case, I think courtesy would be sending the pets back with an explanation that you didn't think they would accept it. Anything else would be scamming them, even if the scam wasn't done intentionally.
The 'reverse trade' thing was originally a last-resort tactic against
repeated bad traders who had already received multiple requests to stop from several people and yet persisted well beyond the point where they should have seen the light. Since when was it alright to start using it against someone who sent
one bad trade and apparently never got even a single message suggesting how they could improve their trading before they were shot by the proverbial cannon? How many people here made a bad trade or two when they were new, or sent a trade with a bunch of pets and nothing on their side expecting the other person to edit in what they wanted in return? And you say that because they made one minor mistake they don't deserve any sort of kindness or guidance and shouldn't even be allowed on the site? Send the pets back, explain that you didn't think they would accept it and that you sent it more as a joke, give them some helpful advice on how to improve their trading, and show some sense of proportion, people! Yeesh!
