Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

Inspired by a robot! Although they have no robot parts
or anything, they just have robot looking markings ^u^

this kid will be an art competition! it can be a story,
traditional art, a poem, or digital art! No limit to anything, so feel free to go wild!
Prettying up is quite alright!

Personality: Matrix is incredibly bashful, and can be incredibly timid at times. when matrix gets to know you better he is really funny and is very friendly. if you do become close friends with matrix, you'll find he is really snuggly, so know that he'll want to stick close to you!

Best Friend: Hollow is Matrix's best friend, due to helping him get out of his shell and meet new people. Granted, Matrix is still shy. but he enjoys Hollow's company. Matrix enjoy's Hollow's coffee, and can be seen near Hollow drinking a cup of warm pumpkin spice latte.

Quirk: Matrix hides in random places when he's startled, favorite place is to hide near bushes and put a bush on his head to blend in better.

short story: not cannon with the universe
xxmatrix walked down the sidewalk towards the coffee shop. Hollow told him to come by early in the morning to get some coffee. pushing the door open with his tail, he walked up to the counter and sat on a stool. hollow turned around and waved a greeting with his tail. "ah, hello trix!" hollow chirruped. "m-morning hollow!" matrix chirped as he pointed with his tail at the menu "can i have my usual please!" trix asked. hollow smiled "of course trix, coming right up" hollow said, turning around to prepare the hot drink. matrix hummed to himself, and looked around the small café. he admired hollow's decorating, the fall decor was amazing, and gave a comfortable and welcoming air to the venue. once the drink was prepared hollow turned around and smiled happily at trix.

xx"here's your drink my friend. hope you enjoy it! I added a special treat to it!" hollow spoke. matrix looked down at the drink and smiled warmly; hollow had created a small bunny using the cream. matrix felt compelled not to drink it and simply marvel at it. but the warm and fresh taste of the brew beckoned him, and so he took a drink. "this is amazing hollow! I loved the bunny you made for me" matrix spoke, his voice full of gratitude. hollow smiled warmingly as he bowed in gratitude. "thank you my friend, come again tomorrow and i'll make another!" hollow happily spoke.
