I get what you're saying but if the roleplayer wants a gender change then you should at least be a little flexible about it. Besides, it's just over a gender of a kit. It shouldn't be that much of a hassle to agree or disagree. Keeping things more civil will make it go more smoothly than arguing about the fact how it must be a certain gender. Unless it's for a very good reason why it must be one gender over the other, again then decision shouldn't lead to the potential of an argument.
