its a longshot, but has anyone done inkling tentacles before? (not hats) specifically for either of the squid sisters, as I'll be cosplaying Marie and there are surprisingly few tutorials/material suggestions for either of their hair.

is something like this what you mean? it looks like they used a thin, shiny pvc. i have also seen people make the shape of them out of felt, and then hot gluing/hair spraying the long sides of their wig onto the felt, like this.

Hey, I need ideas for wings not involving feathers because foam feathers make then too heavy and I don't have time to order real feathers. Thank you

i guess it depends on what look you are going for. you could just cut the shape you want out of foam board, if you don't mind them being 2D. or use the same method as for the actual feather kind but just cut the feathers out of paper. like this.

this website has a heck-ton of resources for various cosplay things, including leds, if that helps. i don't really know where to buy them though, sorry!

so i was able to finish my sheik for the con earlier this month and i'm actually really happy with how most of it turned out!
i ended up entering the cosplay contest, which was terrifying but also fun. but mAN was that costume hot! it was in the 90s during the con, and luckily we were inside for most of it, but we had to park pretty far away and i thought i was going to pass out everytime we walked back to the car haha. @maninkari;; like everyone is saying, HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE!!! and if it gets too hot, you can always go to the bathroom and take off some of the components/wig and stuff to cool down for a bit. i did, it was very helpful.

My brother has come from Uni for the week, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of work on my cosplay with him! I'll add some pictures eventually. This is who I'm going as.

MAJOR pre con panic
Next con is in a week and my wigs are done for! They were put away so I could move and while we were unpacking, I left for lunch and when I got home, the animals got them D: (my dog and s/o's cat) I'm so upset!!! I'm not mad at them but like... That was so much money??? UGH

Im kind of scared because my colored contacts havent came yet (i wear contacts anyways so it doesnt matter) i hope they come today so i can soak them on the ride there and wear them to get used to it. I forgot to say, that im leaving for the con today too.

update: My con is in four days and one of my wigs should get here in 2, super stressed but I hope it gets here in time! I'd like to do at least one cosplay this weekend ;o;

got my cosplay shoes and they're PERFECT.... except.... they're the tiniest bit too small. anybody know of anything I can do about this or at the very least for something i can do to avoid the back end rubbing and wearing holes in my thigh highs?
