I'm not quite sure if this is intermediate worthy
Shading + posture practice
It Paolo
One eyebrow is higher than the other and it looks like he is simultaneously skeptical and looking over something
I'd love critique and tips! I want to improve

alive. wrote:i love your art so much!! but i do have a few critiques;
1. same face syndrome; your faces always look the same, and it's quite hard to tell the differences between characters and such. what i suggest is trying to break that 'same face' barrier, and try different shapes for noses, eyes, and mouthes! i struggled with same face syndrome for quite a while, until i started using these tips.
2. the eyes; the eyes look somewhat emotionless, i'd suggest adding more emotion to the face to add to the eyes. also, the eyebrows play a key part in this as well.
3. the lips; the lips are a little too small for the face, try just making them a bit bigger?
4. never be afraid to try something new / experimental; try different styles! and never be afraid to!
that's all i have. i did not mean to come off as rude, i just wanted to help you a bit
have a nice day!

But with the same face thing, I've been drawing the same character a lot recently so I haven't practiced with the other faces.
I've been trying to draw different face shapes but haven't quite broke the same face barrier yet i guess because they still look similar to people
Yeah, they do look kind of emotionless, I didn't really have an emotion in mind. It was supposed to look neutral, or wistful? Idk
I caught the lips being too small but I struggled making them a size that looked good. Do you mean the whole mouth or just the lips?
Thank you for the compliment and the critique though! It's helpful.

I thought it was too small but didn't want it to be too big
I wasn't trying to draw anything realistic though, just add shading and highlight to my style with a little more effort
I consider my style to be kinda cartoony
