*nibbles on cucumber* Mkay, well, I've read a very unique book recently called The Mousehunter, and then a little earlier before that, The Wall and the Wing. I recommend for everyone to check them out. ^^ They both kept my interest until the end, and I'm fairly sure The Mousehunter will become a series of books.

As for a crush...

I've liked this guy since 6th grade. Pathetic, right? Thing is, I'm pretty sure he feels the same way about me, but by the way we both act around each other, it's like we despise one another. Ironically, he's been in my math class, science class, and elective every single year (plus other classes).. Most of the time, we were always assigned seats right next to each other. Unfortunately, that also includes any of his friends.. Do all teachers hate me? ;P We've always kept a rather.. er.. quirky love/hate relationship.

Starts off with--
HIM: *steals something of mine or does something else obnoxious to me*
ME: *glares*
HIM: *makes a game out of it*
ME: Stop it. Now.
HIM: *keeps doing it and makes it funny*
ME: ... *attempts to use physical force to make him quit*
HIM: *starts laughing*
ME: *glares again*
HIM: *stares and laughs*
ME: *finally laughs*
HIM: It's fun messing with you. *laughing*
ME: I hate you. >_>
HIM: No you don't. *smiles*
ME: *says something complicated that he can't figure out*
HIM: What? Wow. *uses sarcasm* You still don't hate me. You love me. *more smiling*
ME: Don't make me laugh.

And that goes on for a while.. Followed by normal, friendly conversation. >< I'm going to give a list of reasons why I like him...

oo1. Incredibly funny/sarcastic guy. True, he can be obnoxious, but he's not as bad as people think.
oo2. Hard-headed. Don't ask why that's so appealing to me, it just is. o_o
oo3. Can be kind if given the opportunity. He's a complete jerk half of the time.. yet.. it's usually the people he hates the most that he likes the most.
oo4. As mentioned above, he's some kind of jerk. I'm like that sometimes, though I keep it down a notch.
oo5. Shares many common interests with me.
oo6. Weird reason, but he's only one day younger than me (more like 5 minutes). xD
oo7. He's not a homely person at all.. heh. *embarrassed blushing*
oo8. This reason is a statement saying there are many more reasons that I can't explain.

ALMOST FORGOT. It's stupid, but we always end up passing each other in the same hallway between every class period and I always catch him staring at me. Odd. o.0

Aww :D
That's so cool! He sounds really funny...and sort of reminded me of one of my friends.
So I searched on WikiHow, and they hae this whole thing on how to tell if a guy likes you - it's AMAZING! Here's the link http://www.wikihow.com/Know-if-a-Guy-Likes-You

Okay, so I just finished reading the last book in the Vladimir Tod series, and it was AMAZING! It had such a fabuless and unexpected ending! I seriously reccomend these books for all the teenaged vampire-lovers out there!

ive read the Vladimir Tod series ♥ i luv it. Cirque du Freak is awesome too. recently ive been reading the Morganville Vampires series. ive also read the Warriors series, im starting on the Stonehart trilogy and the Hunger Games =]

ok
so i like this guy
hes pretty popular (and im at the bottom of the social ladder lol) but we're both kinda into the same things (my friend went on a rant of how we're meant to be just because we both wore a volcom shirt on the same day) hes in 4 of my classes and we usually end up in a group together. sadly, whenever we are in a group together, we barely talk and then we both get bored and walk away *sigh* i think ive caught him staring at me a couple time tho
not to mention at least *counts queitly on fingers* 3 of my friends like him/think hes hot. AND a bunch of preps (srry if tht offends anybody) obsess over him
any thoughts?
When we were young the future was so bright
The old neighborhood was so alive
And every kid on the whole damn street
was gonna make it big in every beat.

Now the neighborhood's cracked and torn
The kids are grown up but their lives are worn
How can one little street
Swallow so many lives?

Chances thrown, nothing's free
Longing for,used to be
Still it's hard, hard to see
Fragile lives, shattered dreams
♥♥♥

Three years old or three years younger than you...?

My advice would be to just hang out with him more, and talk to him and stuff. I have a friend who just simply CAN NOT do this with guys she likes. The poor dear...
I'm not saying you have to go super-creepy-stalker chick on him and fallow him everywhere, and talk to him nonstop ALL THE TIME. That's just kind of annoying. And weird. But you could start with once or twice a week, just making small talk and being friendly.
Tip: Most guys like girls that they can joke around with, and don't obsess over carbs or celebrity gossip.

MadiBird, I don't think you're sick. I'm the same. I'm 14 and my crush is turning 13 in early November. He's the funniest, most awesome guy ever. I just adore him. <3

O_O Cameron's on top of the food chain, too... *notices that I said his name* Oh well. xD I know what it's like being on the lowermost level of popularity, but I think I got partially lucky this year. Friends with a lot of cheerleaders and preps.. and then everyone else. ^^" I know my friend Chasity likes him, as well as this girl I use to talk to a lot named Rebecca, and almost everyone else because he's so.. "hot". -_- People fail to see anything else good in him other than his cuteness. It frustrates me. D: Everyone thinks me and him belong together because we're both.. equal in too many ways. And as Tabitha said, we both stare at each other while the other isn't paying attention.. Heh.

ANYWAYS, the best thing you could do is ask him for help with something you don't need help on. Think about which subject he has the most fun doing, apply that to what you're asking him about (even if you're better at it than he is), and he will have to help. He'll want to help. It's worked for a lot of my friends.

Also, the tip that MadiBird said is quite useful, but he might think it's cute if you're a health freak or a celeb stalker. xD It actually intrigues Cameron to talk to me more because I'm so health conscious.
