When the Ancient Library of Alexandria burned, its collections were lost to the mortal world. A young god intervened before the fragments of knowledge dispersed in the wind like the ashes had before it. She plucked them out of the air, gently, and rewrote them, book after book reborn from her careful hand.

When she'd salvaged as most as she could, the god set to rebuilding the Library in the abstract realm — invisible to all but those powerful enough to see it. The building became more than a library, more than an accumulation of the world's knowledge; from its remains she grew an Archive to document both the history and the lives of the universe.
