The Queen smiled as her husband entered the room. Quickly getting up to embrace him, she stayed like that for a while. Even though he had lived in the castle for so long, he still smelled as if he came straight out of one of the castes. Maybe a 2? He smelled of mint and spices, and it was wonderful. Pulling back, she smiled. "Aren't you just excited for Adrian? We've been waiting for his Selection to come for so long now." Looking into his eyes, she saw her forever, her future, standing there in front of her.

Evan laughed, resting his head on Connor's chest with a small sigh. "That m-may or may not be true," he giggled, "But yo-you seemed like you might like a little bit of boldness in your life besides your own, s-so-"
He pursed his lips lightly, hearing Connor's heartbeat through his chest, glancing over at him as he flexed one tattooed arm, chuckling. He smiled warmly as the other nuzzled him, the colour and warmth rising back up his cheeks. "It's definitely the biceps," he confirmed jokingly, "Definitely."
The silence that fell over the two in a brief second was suddenly broken by a small laugh from the other, and a suggestion of, "You should tattoo me! Something all... cute, or something. Really, all you would have to do is hold the gun and trace some lines. I mean, you don't have to, obviously, but it would be cool as hell." He felt the other squeeze his and glance over at him, his own eyes widening slightly.

"There's a spot on my arm- here-" Connor continued, pointing to a blank space on his shoulder, glancing back over to Evan with a sparkle in his eyes, "That I've been wanting to fill. I bet you could put like, some bee or plant or something there. You know, those artsy little outline ones? I probably wouldn't have it filled in at all... ooh, or a ghost! God, that would look sick. Maybe tomorrow? If you don't want to, I'll do it myself, and that's fine, but i'm just bouncing ideas. I'm gonna do it anyways."

Evan lifted his head off his chest, lips parting in a shock of confusion. "Oh- Nonono- I-I don't know if I could do that-" he stammered quickly, swallowing, "My hands are too shaky a-and I've-I've never done anything like that before? What- what if I mess up? You-You'll be stuck with a-a messed up tattoo done by an in-inexperienced florist with anxiety and shaky hands and-" He suddenly cut himself off, barely realising he had bolted up into a sitting position when he forced himself to relax. "S-S-S-Sorry!-" he mumbled, hunching his shoulders slightly in shame, "I-I-I- J-Just- sorry- panic-
