i really hope they put some out tonight !! i'd be very surprised if they passed up this opportunity, won't there not be another full one until 2041 or something ?

There's an eclipse every year or two, but most of them are only visible off in the middle of the ocean. I believe the next one that's going to be visible in the USA is in 2024, but it'll be visible in a much smaller area than this one was (or something like that? I don't remember exactly.) We probably didn't get anything because the eclipse is a USA-only thing and CS is a global site, but yeah, eclipse stuff would have been cool.

Things have been released that pertain to a section of the world before. Not too long ago an item set was released for the US Veterans Day.

On the he subject of pets though, wow there were a lot of pps. I'm wondering which of them will get picked as gupps in December... I'd really like to see the chameleon grown up since the pps is so small.

Actually, solar eclipses happen fairly often, they just occur over the ocean most of the time. The reason this one was special is because it was the first eclipse to pass over the entirety of the US in 100 years.
