This cat grew up in the Amazon basin along with it's Clan. Since the Margay species was dying out, several wildlife organizations came to capture a select amount of these cats and move them somewhere where they would be safer. This cat was one of the Margays that was moved. Somewhere along the way, the little Margay escaped from the wildlife organization.
The Margay possess the ability to rotate its hind legs 180°, this allows them to run head-first down trees like squirrels. Their fur is thick and plush and their tails are long enough to be used as a counterweight to help them balance. It has large eyes that enable it to see in the dark, like night-vision. Since they have night-vision, they tend to be nocturnal.
This cat can find hidden objects. If they go with a medicine cat to help find herbs, they can find an extra, hidden herb.
If they go on a hunting patrol, they will have an easier time finding prey and can chase retreating prey up trees.
If they go on a border patrol, they can spot the faintest of movements in the undergrowth. On border patrols, they will usually find kits and apprentices. Due to their unique spots, this cat can blend in to the undergrowth easier than the other Clan cats, making it easy to pull off ambushes This usually works the best on attacking rogues and even predators that could kill Clan cats.
To win this cat, please PM me your entry. The deadline for this cat will be September 6th. I want you guys to get more of a feel for this cat before you enter them into your Clan, so for your prompts I want a story of this cat with their original family/Clan in the Amazon basin, and a story of them shortly after they join your Clan. There is no limit to how much you can write for the prompts! Good luck!

@Ame
In real life, they breed depending on where they live. If they live in a tropical place, they can breed the same amount that normal cats do. If they live in a temperate place, they breed seasonally. But females usually have litters every 2 years with the size of 1 or 2 kits and a high mortality rate. But that is usually because of predators picking off the kits.
Whoever gets this cat doesn't have to follow the actual way they breed if they don't want to.
