What do her ribbon colors say about her personality? (Does not count toward judging, must be filled out):Kasufa can be cheerful and sunny at times, but when she is in a bad mood, she can be grumpy.
Personality:Kasufa can be cheerful and sunny at times, but when she is in a bad mood, she can be very grumpy. She is very good at making friends and cheering others up. She makes sure everyone is taken care of and nobody is left out. She has a strong sense of leadership and never hesitates to provide assistance when necessary. When she has a eclipse vision, she blanks out and stops interacting with others for awhile to avoid affecting her friends, which displays her thoughtfulness. She is also very confident and takes up challenges without fear.
Short Story: My name is Kasufa.
You may want to know that...I used to be blind, but I’m healed now.
Not the genetic or illness kind.
It’s because of an eclipse.
I was a sickly foal at birth, you see. My friends were already galloping;I could barely stand. My friends were already enjoying the sights of spring; my eyes had not opened. My mother did not know what to do for me.
Then came Sunny, the light of my life, as she has been for countless others. She cheered me on and encouraged me and was always by my side. Her chestnut coat and my snow white coat together were a common sight to others.
She taught me how to run, so I could feel the wind in my mane. She taught me how to jump, so I could reach new heights. She taught me how to chase the mice in the meadow, so I could play like the rest.
There was one thing Sunny could not do.
She could not make my eyes open.
That day came, when, at nighttime, the two of us were lying in the meadow. Sunny gasped and said, “Kasufa, there’s an eclipse!” I could not respond, however, as I could not see it.
“Kasufa open your eyes, now! Hurry! The eclipse may go away at any moment!” cried Sunny.
I tried. It worked.
My eyes flared open for the first time in my six month life. The first thing I saw was the eclipse. Not my mother, not Sunny. The eclipse.
I was amazed by the show of power of the cosmos. My eyes did not hurt; the eclipse was clearly reflected in my irises.
“Kasufa!” I heard Sunny cry out in astonishment, and I smiled myself. Just then, I felt as if the power of the cosmos was mine.
My white coat changed; my withers to head turned as yellow as the sun, and behind turned as black as the night sky.
I thanked Khonsu and Ra.
I had eclipse visions after that; visions of what I would have seen if I had opened my eyes at birth. When that happened, the eclipse I saw that night with Sunny would be reflected in my eyes.
I am still blind in a way. But the eclipse gave me my vision, gave me hope, healed me, and saved me from a world of darkness.
Author Note: Kasufa was actually born blind, but being wild horses, they did not know, as Kasufa never opened her eyelids they just thought she was a late bloomer. The eclipse gave her vision and hope, that is why the eclipse is so important to her.

Extra(s):1. Kasufa's Little Poem
"I can never forget
That ray of light
Sunny, the fiery sunset, and me,
The eclipse.
"I can never forget
That fateful night
When my blindness was cured by
The eclipse.
"I can never forget
The immense power,
The cosmic wonder, of
The eclipse.
"I can never forget
My very namesake
The sun-moon phenomenon,
The eclipse."
2. Kasufa's Parents
"My parents? You want to know about them? Alright.
"I remember my sire only faintly, for I did not see him many times after my birth. However, I remember that he is a
handsome palomino stallion. His name is Serpent, and he is one of the strongest horses in our herd. I think I may have inherited by strength and endurance from my sire.
"Of course I remember my dam much clearer. She helped me when I was born, and cared for me in many ways. She is a
beautiful black mare. Her name is Honey, and they call her the Beautiful One in the herd. My kind and caring personality must have been passed to me by my wonderful dam.
"And just for amusement,
this is me as a foal. Before the eclipse acted on me, of course. Hey, I may have been blind, but I was a spirited and playful foal too!
