Except I'm to lazy at the moment to write it, and by tomorrow I'll have forgotten it. Oh, well.....

*Snowflake*: Oh noes! We'll be really sad to see you leave. I'll join the Writer's Guild, then.

MidnightMoon: I'm going to steal your 'I am a writer' stamp, mkay? ;3 I luff it.

I always have weird dreams that I would love making into books... I actually have one really decent plot from a dream that i had once. And feel free to use the stamp, I got it off of DeviantArt and it's for anyone to use. ^_^

It's been so long since anyone has posted on here... How is everyone's writing going?

I have had major writers block. The best I can come up with is "how the world will continue to end in a relapse of time until harmony is seen on all horizons". Yeah, well. That isn't very good.

I'm still writing the story for a customer of my shop. It's progressing rather slowly and now I'm on vacation and I'm not sure when I'll finish. I think I have about 2000 words now. Still need at least 13,000 more. But at least, I now like the plot. The one I had before felt horrible (and I already had written 10,000 words of that horrible plot *lol*).

Have you tried getting unstuck by writing something you have never written or liked before? Like a really sappy romance with all the clichés you've heard of? Or some spaceship fighting scene? Sometimes it helps writing something you know you don't have to be good at because you don't normally write it. Gives your inner editor a nice shock *g*
Try something new. Write a scene you already have written from a different perspective, write an alternative scene you know you're not gonna use anyway but would reaaally like to write, read something you've never read before, randomly pick a word and write everything about it that comes to mind for 10 minutes, and all those other creative writing things you can come up with. There is so much one can do. It's just a matter of what will help, as the same thing doesn't always work.

Wow, I haven't posted in a while  . I rescently started a new plotline in a fit of WB on my others, and i'm wondering what you think... (I'm also trying out a new type of character ;) )

I clicked away on my handheld game during the long car ride to the airport. My character’s ship just crash landed on some planet and the game had gone into it’s ever annoying “Please wait” mode. Once it had loaded, I took my character outside to see that the planet was populated by… Sasquatch? I flipped down my game screen with an exasperated sigh, So much for a Cryptid-Free trip, I thought with a shake of my head.
“How’s the new game?” my dad asked from the front seat of our car, “Met any aliens yet?”
I sighed with a glance out the window at a passing minivan with a pony in the back seat. “Yeah, I just landed on ‘planet of the Sasquatch’ “ I said, glancing at him in the rear-view mirror.
Planet of the Sasquatch, Planet of the Sasquatch! What big feet!” a squawk came from the seat next to me.
I groaned, turning to my African Grey Parrot, “You know, when I named you ’Silence’, I was rather inaccurate,”
Rather inaccurate, Rather inaccurate! Silence, Silence, order in the court!
I draped a blanket over her cage in hopes she’d go to sleep. A pointless action considering that we were nearly to the airport. Our destination? A lake in Sweden, in search of the legendary Storsjöodjuret, or “Great lake monster” of lake Storsjon.
yippee…
I should be enthusiastic, but I have a hard time believing that there’s an eighteen foot dog-eel-seal-thing wandering about in a populated lake.
We arrived at the airport a few minutes later. Normally I’d have a bit of trouble getting Silence onboard as a carry-on, but since dad’s boss owned the jet we’d be traveling on, she’d been made a ‘passenger’. A passenger with her own carry-on.
“Nice parrot,” the security guy commented while I waited for her bag, “Silence, right?”.
Not allowed, not allowed,” she squawked from her cage as I picked up her, and my, newly scanned bag.
“Thanks,” I replied, “Now if only she’d live up to her name.”
On the plane were most of the ‘co-workers’, various trackers, radar experts, biologists, and the one-person ‘tech-crew’, Ronald ‘Ron’ Richardson.
No sign yet of the boss, Gregory Chanute. His last name varies in pronunciation, he insists it’s ‘Cha-noot‘, some people say ‘Cha-noot-ey‘, while others call him ‘Cha-nut‘ or 'Cha-nut-ey'. Our family calls him ‘Chan-ute’. On another note of name, he can’t stand being called ‘Greg’.
I sat down and placed Silence’s cage in her ’seat’. Looking out the window, I spotted his-absence-y. Dressed in a wrinkle free, spotless, white suit, his graying, black hair slicked back like he wanted to impersonate a whale, I was surprised that he would fund- and participate in- a search for a sea monster.

In case you're wondering about Silence's name, Ash (the main character girl) is a fan of Benjamin Franklin. So, upon resiveing a parrot, she named her pet after his temporairy alis 'Silence Dogood' (I may have misspelled the last name :? )

I have too many ideas too. I'm almost finished with one story, but I've got some hang up on writing it. For some reason, I really want to write in my notebook and then transcribe to the computer. So it's taking a while. But I think it's just this one scene and once I'm done, I'll hopefully be over it. But then, today I was working on some homework and got another idea. I'm sure it's been done before since it's not terribly inventive, but I want to play with it and see if I get something decent out of it. So I've got that to add to my list of about twenty other ideas I have. I need to write more. And do less homework.
