name lyra
gender female with they/them pronouns
personality lyra's that girl that once obsessed with something, she'd act like it forever (usually).
here's an example:
she liked mermaids. she obsessed over mermaids, calling herself one, for about two years.
she's also kind and sweet but can adapt easily and carefully. she usually words her sentences carefully, making sure that her words wouldn't be able to be used against her. she sometimes is called an 'extreme' for her complete obsessed modes, and how she challenges herself so high it's impossible and reckless.
she has anxiety and stress, only helped with being with her boyfriend and the sound of calming waves.
she doesn't care for herself, more with her boyfriend, cisco. she's the only one who can push him around, and if you do, you'll have to put up with lyra, champion swimmer and anything having to do with athletic activity.
relationship w/ sea she was clutching the seashell necklace in her hand, happy to have it.
cisco, how can you be so CUTE? she thought, smiling. she walked by the shore, the relaxing waters helping with her anxiety and stress. she breathed in the scents, relaxing on the shores. she jumped when she heard a wail, sounding like a horse.
a horse? she thought, confused. horses weren't around here, usually.
the wail rose again, and she ran to the shore to see something caught in a fishing net. sea green blood was dripping out of some cuts,
and she was terrified. what was this animal? did it have a mutation?
the animal looked up, looking like a horse. but it was impossible. it had fins too! then cisco's voice came into her head.
'' remember Greek mythology? '' cisco said to me, talking about some animal encounter or whatever.
'' yeah? '' i said, looking at his sweet eyes.
'' well, today while i was making sea shell necklaces, I was starting to close down my stand since it was late. then i saw an animal splash out of the water, looking like a hippocampus. '' cisco said to me, his voice honest.
'' hippocampus? that horse with fins? '' i said, surprised.
'' yeah, while you're at the waves, can you look for it? ''
i remembered me nodding, and then i looked into the creature's eyes. they were full of distress, and suddenly it lifted it's head up and brushed my cheek with it's nose. i rubbed it back, and ran back home (right by the sea, balcony over the shallows) and grabbed my first-aid kit. i ran back, hardly skipping a beat.
i ran back, taking off the fish net carefully, and wrapping towels around the hippocampus. i picked it up carefully, happy that the hippocampus seemed quite young. i brought it to the shallow of my home, before grabbing my phone and calling cisco telling him about the hippocampus.
for a few days, i nursed the hippocampus back to health. i named it 'prismarine.' it seemed to respond to that name, and once it was better, she set it free. but it came back and back and back, and she finally realized the mythical creature wanted to be with her.
she and cisco built a fence for it, and then more and more for OTHER animals.
from that day on, lyra was a sea animal doctor. she nursed the injured back to health, and some stayed in captivity forever, in a safe,
enclosed area. her house became a zoo for nursed animals, pools built into the floors with enough room for them to be happy and the right temperatures too. she was never paid, but still was able to do it with her new husband, cisco. they kept upgrading their house,
happy to sleep with the otters chattering and prismarine snoring in his own cage. the sea brought her to this wonderful job, and she was glad. the sea was closer to her heart now, knowing where she was because of the waves that drew her in.
(( cisco is a seashell necklace maker, and later on he became a marine bioligist ))
