Seeing her growling call didn't catch anyone's attention, she proceeded to back away. Away from the camp entrance, away from all her Clanmates. She just wanted to get away from all this. This couldn't be happening, right?...First they find Silverflower dead in the middle of camp, now Marigoldpaw is rushing in with the Clan's only kit's dead body saying he found it by the river. But everyone was safe in camp when it happened. Right? Yewbriar shivered, letting her gaze travel across the camp for answers. Nothing was clear at the moment. Not even what she was feeling. Why would this happen? Is StarClan punishing them for something they did?

It felt like Emberheart's heart had stopped. Otterkit was...dead? It couldn't be true. One of them couldn't have done this. Surely he fell in when he was out- that thought even made her shiver. He was probably so scared.. she dug her claws into the dirt.
Why hadn't she been more observant? If she had just been awake maybe this wouldn't have happened to the poor kit.

Blueheart freezes when she sees the poor kit, limp in one of the apprentices' - she can't tell who; her vision has narrowed to just the kit - and she just stares. She even forgets to breathe for a moment.
It can't be true. Who would kill a kit?

so feeble... so week. even more than a usual kit. what
were they going to do if there really was a murderer
among them?

foxfall stood next to blueheart, frozen with shock. first silverflower, and now her kit, riverclan's last kit? this could be devastating for the clan, with so little apprentices. sure, there would be more kits expected; foxfall had seen the way that some of his clanmates looked at each other, but it was dangerous. "who would do this...?" he whispered, his voice hoarse.

Rabbittail shook her head slowly, her stomach turning. This wasn't right. First his mother, then him... whoever was doing this to her clan would regret it. Yet, the brown and white shecat couldn't bear to make herself single a friend or family member out for exile. It wasn't right either.
