The Forest is a place of mysterious origins. No signs of modern civilization exist, except
for those from fellow inhabitants, or the occasional abandoned building.
The area is massive, walled off by distant mountains in all directions except the Western sea.
To animals who normally live in the forest, it may seem completely normal.

Every morning is very misty, and this mist can last long into the day.
The plants and wildlife indicate a Temperate environment.

Some areas are dark from the thick tree cover, while others are light. There are some open
fields, ponds, boulders, and creeks.

● [ The Wildlife ] ●

Most of the forest is safe, with dangerous plants rare to be found.
Berry bushes of many species, some poisonous, scatter the landscape.

Herds of Red Deer patrol the forests while Wild Sheep climb the mountains.
There may be an occasional Grizzly Bear or Mountain Lion.
A pack of wild Wolves wanders the land.
Smaller animals include Foxes, Squirrels, Reptiles, and Quail.

The wild animals here do not speak. Your talking animal OCs may be confused by this.

● [ The Beach ] ●

On the Western Border, speckled sand dunes indicate the extensive Beach,
where Forest breaks away to Sand and Sea.
In some places the border can be sudden, where the water touches tree roots,
while other areas can be covered in yards of white sand.
The shallow waters are Safe, with sea weeds and common fish.
The deep waters are Dangerous, full of currents, swells, winds,
and great finned beasts which pass by the surface.

● [ Freshwaters ] ●

Scattered throughout the Forest are various sources of freshwater bodies.
From the mountains fall shallow creeks that lead to the Deep River.
These creeks are very rocky, with little room for fish except Small Minnows.
Deeper areas downhill may have salmon and other large river fish.

Scattered throughout the Forest are various ponds, including a Big Lake.
Some ponds may be muddy and appear more like marshland.

These locations may have harmless watersnakes and amphibians.

● [ The Deep River ] ●

From East to West runs the Deep River, at which all Shallow Creeks end.
The murky water is 100ft wide at places, but can be easily crossed by swimming.
The middle is so deep that the bottom has never been found due to upwards
currents, though it becomes shallow as it opens into a Delta to the Sea at
the West coastline.

Salmon and other Large Fish patrol these waters,
as well as amphibians, water snakes, and water birds.

To the East, it originates from dangerous, unsurpassable rapids in the Cliffs.

● [ The Big Tree ] ●

A Massive Oak Tree stands tall above the rest of the Forest.
It can often be used as a notable Landmark.
There's nothing else too special about it.

~ ~ ~~ ~~~ [ ✿ ] ~~~ ~~ ~ ~
● [ The Old Lodges ] ●

Throughout the forest are some various Old Lodges,
which may stand alone or with other lodges and buildings.
These have been abandoned for quite some time,
and their past purpose is unknowable.
They have furniture, decor and makeshift items that seem to
have been made and carved by whoever lived there, most made
of pelts and wood. They have no electricity, water, or unspoiled food.

They may have Sheds containing basic tools, such as
shovels, axes, and carving knives.

A few Watermills line the Deep River.

~ ~ ~~ ~~~ [ ✿ ] ~~~ ~~ ~ ~
● [ Rocky Cliffs ] ●

All around the forest, great Cliffs rise from the trees.
These cliffs are craggy, rocky, and dangerously riddled with avalanches.
The tops are very Foggy, and those who enter either wander in circles
and end up where they came from, or are never seen again.
