Born the only surviving kit of his mother's first and only litter, she was always highly protective of him. Her restrictive attitude toward him and his adventures only continued to peak Crowwing's curiosity at the time, a trait he still retains from his kithood. His father, however, was a proud clan cat and raised him to exert and enhance his natural leadership abilities. Crowwing prefers to think logically rather than emotionally, so he has swift decision-making skills and has an understanding of practical solutions, but his creativity is lacking. He isn't very expressive of his emotions, taking on a more stoic and serious front, and he does not allow himself to lose face in stressful situations, feeling as though he has to keep this front up for the benefit of his clanmates. Following the death of his mate Adderstrike during kitting, Crowwing became much more reserved. Previously, he would confidently share his thoughts and ideas with his clanmates, but the unexpected death hit him hard, and he doesn't interact with others as much as he used to.

Mintpaw is the more energetic and curious of her father's kits. She always tends to stick her nose into others' business and is used to being reprimanded. Her bubbly personality provides her the confidence to put herself out there and talk to new cats whenever possible. She adores making new friends and loves spending time with others, becoming rather bored whenever she is left to her own devices. Of course, she has always had her sister and father to play with, if anything, so she has never truly known loneliness before. She has an extremely optimistic point of view, but all of this combined means that Mintpaw is very naive and too trusting of others. It is difficult for her to understand that some cats have more sinister motives, and she has trouble believing that there are cats out there who simply want to cause harm to her clan, so she doesn't take battle training and the like as seriously as she should.

Spiderpaw is more similar to her father, personality-wise. She is very stoic and puts on a serious front, not very expressive of her emotions, unlike her sister. Spiderpaw has a realistic understanding of the world and is rather self-righteous, stubborn in her thoughts and ideas. She can be a bit arrogant and is less trustworthy of others, holding herself in a higher light than her clanmates most of the time. She has often been praised for working things out herself and is more acclimated to doing things independently rather than in a group setting. However, she is extremely empathetic underneath her hard exterior; Spiderpaw especially has a soft spot when it comes to kits and elders. She can always be seen in the elders' den listening to stories when she can or playing with the newborn kits, often being teased by her sister for being more kind-hearted than she lets on.
