What's your favourite and least favourite part about coding:

The fact that it takes hours to make something so beautiful. Another thing, with one misplaced line of code,
the entire sig gets messed up.

When did you begin making signatures?:

July 25th. I made one for a friend.

Tell us a bit about yourself?:

Im a teenage female. I have anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, among other things of course. Music is my life, and it has raised me more then my father. I love supernatural and lilo and stitch. And I guess I just really started coding good yesterday.

tbh i dont really know, but for my signature it had been awhile since i coded and i sudden inspiration to take a quote from my character winnie and turn it into the big hunk you call my signature!!
so i guess i take inspiration from quotes as my signature before had a quote! soi guess to help get out of it look at quotes from your favorite characters and see if one inspires you :0

@ everyone who gave me feedback - it seems a lot of
you said the same thing about my quote, and I do agree, it's
a little tough to read. Eventually I'll probably use a different
font that's easier to read or something.

or a place for links? Maybe another aesthetic of some sort?
also I like how aesthetic your sig is, it reminds me of some-
one who's minimalist.

@Jodgo - I really like your sig, it looks cute. The
colors don't clash and aren't too bright, and it looks really
smooth. Also, their's no need to bump this thread, it just
goes slow.

so, i was wondering if i could have any advice on how to code
smaller signatures? i've always focused on having my signatures
take up as much space as possible because i know that's what
a lot of people who order signatures prefer, but i've always
perferred simpler and smaller signatures, but i have no idea
how to make them because ive never tried. tips?

While my current one is huge, I'm in the same boat & have gotten similar types of orders in the past (well, one). I'm not really familiar with your coding style or the nuances of your layouts or anything like that, but basically one word is going to be your friend when making smaller signatures: layering.

Combining images and quotes and the like will save you tons of space and, combined with certain effects like drop shadows and image weaving, can look just as cool. Generally you should be moving your focus from filling out as much space as possible with massive unicode columns and dingbats to your image manipulation. Layer letters with dingbats, keep quotes concise (you might want to work with your customers on that one), abuse the [right] within [left] trick to the fullest, use stuff like unicode boxes to add visual interest, utilize tiny unicode pieces to fill out space and create borders, split images. I'd also like to mention the fact that you can bump over entire signatures by encasing the entire thing in [list] tags if you want to try and "center" it, and that sketching it first ALWAYS helps. If you need to, just make your canvas smaller so you're not tempted to overextend.

,,, if you're looking more to emulate bruise's style (to use you as an example hope u don't mind) though with that minimalist super tiny thing I can't really give you advice other than "use signerica" lmaoooo

I definitely agree with yaku that you should abuse the usage of columns within columns. Try to keep things, small, concise, and neat; don't blow images/text up for the sake of filling up space. Also, try for thinner borders, or use as few as possible (without it looking messy). And I know people tend to go minimalist with small signatures (which I prefer and tend to do), but you definitely don't have to! Make it as extravagant and complex as you want within the little box you define as your signature space. Kind of like a chihuahua: tiny, but full of personality.

thank you guys. i went ahead and tried one out. i
was too afraid to try and use pictures because i
know how hard it is to make pictures smaller with
out them blurring. thoughts on it?

the coding his very nice, and the colors work
surprisingly well i would've thought the green would
clash hard. i could suggest maybe adding a bio box?

it is very, very bright. i personally am not a huge fan
of bright colors. the coding itself is nice, and the placement
of the quote makes it easy to fall. the fawn image is
fairly out of place, and the colorscheme doesn't match
the quote very well but i assume that's the point. i don't
really have anything to suggest except maybe duller
colors, but that's just me. good job coding, it looks great.
