Rules
The important parts are bolded
1. Be respectful! Don't complain if you don't win, don't steal others' Kiarks, and basically just try to be a decent human being
2. Kiarks are a LGBTQ+ friendly species. They can be any gender/sexuality, and don't harass someone for making their's a certain gender/sexuality.
3. Please don't spam this thread. Marking is fine, but keep everything else relevant to the thread.
4. You may own 4 Kiarks at a time (staff can own 5). This may be raised later
5. No selling or trading Kiarks! Gifting is fine, but you should PM me if you do, so I can keep track in the archive!
6. In most instances, Kiark designs may not be transferred to other species. The only exception is if you designed them yourself
7. PPS Kiarks will stay puppies forever. You're free to give it to a child Kiark if you want, but you can't remove it!
8. Growths can be done by anyone who isn't banned from the species, but must be approved by an artist, preferably the one who designed it in the first place

Artist Rules:
1. Keep the number of Kiarks based on existing characters (like from a TV show or book) to a minimum. If you do make a Kiark based on something though, try to make it more unique than just "x character as a Kiark".
2. Keep judging fair and unbiased! If you feel you'd be bias towards an entrant, ask someone, preferably from the staff, for assistance judging.
3. You can make your first custom at any time, afterward you must make 4 regular adopts before you can make another custom (numbers are subject to change).
4. Minor hair, tail, ear, and fur edits are fine, and can be made without my permission. Any larger edits need to be approved by me first.
5. Making them on custom lines is fine, and even encouraged ! Though they should still be on oekaki if possible, and shouldn't have large edits

nursery rules:
any one kiark can only be bred 3 times without the use of an item
any two kiarks may breed together, regardless of gender
If two Kiarks are related they are not allowed to breed
artists may not turn down a nb because of the genders of the parents
Kiarks must be mates for a month, or two weeks and have a completed piece of couple art, before they can breed
