YOUR QUESTION:
1) Explain how potential energy, kinetic energy, and work can all be interchanged. (should involve a math equation)
2) Explain how AC and DC electricity are used, where could you find them, and why.I HAVE A QUESTION!
TYPE OF QUESTION: U.S. History
YOUR QUESTION:
1) Explain the development of Allied strategy to fight and win World War ll. Include the name of the strategy, the three Allied leaders and their respective countries, and five reasons to support the selection of the strategy. Identify the reason that you believe BEST supports this strategy and explain why.
2) Define "Cold War". Identify the two main countries involved in the Cold War, their goals, and the alliances they created. Identify and describe the three Cold War terms used to evaluate the impact of a nuclear war between these two countries.
I can try and help explain a few elements from each question to help you arrive at an answer, but PM me if this doesn't make sense
Physics
1) Remember that potential plus kinetic energy is equal to total mechanical energy - so, we can say we have 5 Joules of potential energy plus 6 Joules of kinetic energy to equal 11 Joules of mechanical energy. These terms can be used relative to work because work involves moving an object x amount of distance, so when x amount of work is performed, the object gains x amount of potential energy.
2) AC current is what comes out of a socket in the wall, and DC current is what comes from battery, if I'm correct (my memory might be failing me, it's been a little while since I've studied this).
US History
1) I'm pretty sure it was called the Anaconda plan, I know the US and Britain were a part of it, and I think Russia was also allied with them just to put the plan into action. It was used to start to trap the Germans in so they could keep moving in on Germany, attack on all fronts to try and spread their troops out.
2) The Cold War was the period of time when the United States and Russia had a standoff with nuclear weapons. The United States wanted to stop the threat of a global nuclear war - which was predicted to end in a nuclear winter (thus the war was dubbed 'The Cold War') . Russia was allied with Cuba (which resulted in the Cuban missile crisis) and the United States was allied with Canada. (I'm not sure what Cold War terms there are, but the Cuban missile crisis and nuclear winter are usually ideas associated with the Cold War)
Again, please PM me if you need any additional help, most of this is off the top of my head so I can add a little more information if I find my notes.
