She thought back to her hunting experience of two days previous with FawnPaw. She shook herself, and looked around for her mentor.

She looked at the kits tenderly, through tired eyes. They mewed bleakly, their tiny little eyes not yet open. ¨Yes, I was thinking about FrogKit, MossKit, TinyKit, PebbleKit, and HeatherKit.¨ She said to OrangePelt, not looking up from the kits. ¨She nuzzled her mate affectionatley. ¨TinyKit and HeatherKit look like you.¨ She smiled, ¨I love them all.¨ She purred in amusement at Frogkits antics. She nosed the kits closer to her, and licked them as well. "Hello FirePetal. How are you? Have you come to see the kits?"

¨Yeah,¨ She agreed. ¨Did you hear? WillowFern had her kits! I was going to go see them, want to go with me? I heard there are 5.¨ She mewed excitedly. She smiled. She would love to have kits too, someday. They headed off to the nursery, and she let out a small purr of affection when she saw the five newborn kits.

She mewed softly, being the runt of the litter, and shoved from side to side by her siblings, mewling all the while. She squeaked when she was licked, pawing at the nose that nudged her. She could now speak slightly, her tiny voice barely heard over her rambling siblings.



Whisper

"FreezePaw, I know you're there." She purred in a bemused tone. "You are downwind of me, I can smell you hiding in that tree." Two days had passed since they last met, but Whisper still enjoyed the apprentice's company.

She woke up, and immediately realized that she had forgotten to do something. "SnapClaw, I forgot to give you these!" She sniffed, annoyed with herself for being stupid. "I'm so sorry, your night must have been rough..." She gave SnapClaw a couple of poppy seeds. "I can help you with that wound too..."

Glancing around guiltily, knowing he shouldn't have snuck out of camp, he burst into the hollow. "SoulPaw, are you there?" He whispered. "Hi!" He mewed excitedly, glad he could see her again, and also began to blush profusely. "Oh, SkyClan is...fine." His paws twitched uneasily. He wasn't sure if he was allowed to tell her...But they were friends. He could trust her. "Ok, last night, there was a badger attack, and NettleStar... He protected the kits, and lost his last life. Our deputy, is horrible, and I don't feel safe in the clan anymore. That's why I came over today. I want to join WillowClan." He confessed. He smiled and danced around excitedly too, until his expression changed. "I-I...Like...you.." He choked out, trying very hard not to look up. His heart soared behind his rib cage, as his friend spoke the words he had always wanted to hear. He looked up from his paws, his blush creeping on both sides of his face. He wasn't sure what to say. He felt it was better to be quiet, and just enjoy a moment of silence with her. He gently twined his tail with hers, and gazed toward the steadily rising sun.

She happily looked out at the steadily rising sun, her ears twitching ever so slightly. Soulpaw was enjoying the moment of silence, her tail intertwined with Foxpaw's.

Tigerstep leaned over to the shecat, muttering softly. "Do you want to go hunting?" He glanced at the sky outside of the den, sighing, "It's a nice day."

Sorrelcloud padded out of the warrior's den, glancing at the fresh-kill pile longingly. It's best I wait for another patrol to go out before I help myself.

Russetpaw blinked up at her mentor and shuffled her paws, "Ur, no I was just eating. Do you want a bite?" She nosed the rest of her mouse towards him nervously.

Redpaw~Tags: Open

Redpaw sat outside of the apprentice den, flopping onto his side and letting out a tired sigh. Silently he hoped he wouldn't have to train to day, but he doubted it.

Heronwing~Tags: Willowfern, Firepetal

Heronwing glanced up from his kits, meeting the gaze of Firepetal and tilted his head as Willowfern asked if she wished to see the kits. "Yes, have you come to look at them?" He repeated, glancing back down at his kits as he gave Tinykit a little grooming. "Now, now kits! Let Tinykit have a say, too."

He glanced up at his father, giving an annoyed huff. He still wasn't used to his voice yet, but he still yowled away. "But... She... Okay..."
