I think some people are getting too excited and keep skipping the rules XD I did that the first time I saw this

well i guess i could enter..
but i really dont have the skills of making cakes. and we cant afford to buy items that arent essential to our needs.
cake supplies isnt exactly the top of our list..

oh tess in the little cake that you showed as an example, did you make that? its really really cute! i love the sunback, and you made it come to life! oh sunback you are so pretty!

When is CS's actual Birthday? My young son has his birthday in April as well so I may incorporate your cake with his Birthday cake might as well kill two birds with the one stone.

yes I did, thankyou it was my first time making figures to go on a cake so I think they turned out okay considering x3

i think they looked great!
if i tried that, i would fail. and the sunback would look like a blob of yellow and white and orange. not a dog.

i can only draw really well. never could i sculpt or anything like that.

Nope. But I think if the cake is sufficiently big enough you could get more decorating on, ne? :p

we're looking for cakes which are clearly relevant (themed for the contest) - i.e. they should be CSey and 3rd-birthdayish
we're also going to be scoring points for overall attractiveness (how nice it looks) and creativity - simply writing 'happy birthday CS' in icing on a flat round cake wouldn't score many creativity points for example. Although it might look attractive and would certainly be relevant


I ate some of the cake, but I didn't eat the sunback. It took me about an hour to mold him with my hands, and then I painted him using brushes from my watercolor paints, so I don't really want to eat him anymore xD


Another delicious cake has just been entered... this one is really making me hungry
