I have a few questions.. feel free to shoot me if they've already been answered. ^^;

1. If I use something that's edible *coughsaltandflourdough* but not very appetizing, could I still use it?
2. If I am collaborating with another player, can we choose how the prizes are distributed? And would we both get the 'medal' next to our usernames?
3. Could we use non-edible components, like plastic wrap, to hold together or create an effect on the cake, would that be allowed?

the base should be real cake, but for making toppings; it will be okay as long as they're really made of 'food' items. Salt/flour dough might be good for making figures to go on top. But if the toppings are visibly disgusting then it might not score too highly

For using non-edible components - it's okay if they're just being used to hold things together. But they shouldn't be overly visible, since they're there to keep things together, and not part of the design.

Prizes will be awarded to cakes judged to be the most creative, relevant, and attractive There will be grand prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. If we get enough entries, there will also be some cakes marked as runner-up, which will earn a small prize too!

yup, just as long as it's clearly related to the contest theme, and you should read all the rules on what you can use to make it (they're on the first page)

Are you allowed to get family members to make the cakes for you, because it seems some younger users might get a parent or relative to do most of the work. :3 I'm sorry if this is an irrelevant question!~
