Didn't expected her to do all that enormous damage while she sleeps- i mean... She is so little and damaging the Instruments sure did make some sound. She didn't even wake up from that?!

I think the summer event has been really well thought out this year. This is the first year we've had a separate board for theorising about the event, and I think that really worked. I've not been around much (reality takes a lot of my time) but even with my limited access, I'm pretty much up to date with all the pets, and haven't felt too pressured to try to keep up, so game balance has been spot on.
As for the mystery not lasting long enough - I don't agree. There is still the Jamboree - presumably the finale of the event - and the mystery shouldn't overlap with whatever is planned for that. If it had lasted another day or even longer, people would have started getting bored with it and asking why it hadn't been solved already, so I think the timing was just right.

Does anyone else feel like the mystery was a bit of a let down? Like, all this hype about finding a suspect, and it was all just an accident. Not trying to be critical, but I wanted some good drama!

I like how it ended, personally. Mr. Herringbone is so sweet, I think I'd be upset if he had done it on purpose. And the little lion cub...well, it is surprising that she didn't notice the noise around her, but...maybe she did, and she snapped awake and scurried back to her room, and fell asleep again, waking later to believe it was a nightmare.
And this whole time, we were helping Mr. Herringbone build his statue by giving him the supplies for it! <3

I also like the separate board. It helps keep things nicer and cleaner. I also thought it was sweet that Herringbine decided to make a statue from the materials that we gave him for the Jamboree, even though he thought nobody liked him. Now he knows that nobody hates him.

Yeah, that must be why I'm happy overall with the investigation. Even though the mess turned out to be an accident, we still got some stuff out of the investigation, so it wasn't entirely for naught Mr. Herringbone finally opened his seamail LOL and now he knows that he wasn't entirely being ignored and also now everyone knows that he tried to do something nice even though he... entered the courtyard unauthorized and it turned into this mess thanks to the Princess's sleepwalking and love of sandwiches hahaha </3

(btw, who put together the statue with the CS items? Must've been a little painful to do that LOL everything looks lined up so neatly and there's so much kelp omg...)
