What pets do you really want?

I've done a lot of research and I just want a cat, one that is disabled or very old so that it can live it's life or the last of it in peace with a big dose of happiness!
I have four cats, a dog and a hamster already though.
But, in 4 hours I'm going to go work at an Animal Sanctuary and we have 140 cats, hedgehogs, baby seagulls, birbs and more!

I really want to get a chameleon at some point!

I am getting a crested gecko tomorrow, I can't wait!
Other than that I'd love getting a leopard gecko and/or a blue tongued skink one day. I love water dragons and uromastyx.
I adore cats too but as long as I'll be living with my parents I will not be able to get one… Same for all the types of small parrots and rodents, ferrets or hedgehogs.
Hopefully one day these dreams will come true.

I've done so much research
Asked for advice from multiple pet stores
But now all I have to do is convince my parents.

A list of pets I eventually would like to have in my life, but not necessarily all at the same time or anything!

I really love snakes, pythons are cute and I used to want a hognose but my friend stresses so much over hers already! They get really finicky about eating apparently. I also have developed more of an interest in rabbits, admittedly through both a rabbit pet site and some ehow rabbit care videos. I'd also like to raise goats, rats, and ferrets! And I've seen a few people with sugar gliders and I have heard about people who have been able to care for skunks as well!

And at one point in my life I think it would be nice to be able to work with big cats or bats at their respective sanctuary. They're very beautiful creatures.

The most doable one I can probably shoot for in the near future is a dog, and even then that's iffy and I'd probably have to get a small dog because I have a very skittish cat. But I love bigger dogs as well! Rotties and huskies and chow chows and some others!

I wish I had a Racoon, but they are very active and do a lot of mess.

I could go on and on with a list of pets I desire to have XD
But at the top of the list are chinchillas and either a two-toed or three-toed sloth. They're both sO cUtE!

i have always adored black pugs, i really want one but i live in a apartment and have little time to do so because i work on a lot of art pieces :'(

I'd gladly take on some mallard ducks, tufted ducks, moorhens, hooded crows, magpies, pidgeons and some robins.
..But only if I had a nice big pond in my back garden and if my cat didn't attempt kill any bird she spots..
