can i have some feedback on my signature? i made the gif myself! i'm quite proud of the gif, but i don't know about the rest. i really didn't know what to put inbetween the textboxes, so i put the kanji of the character's name.

i quite like it! the song and your signature. there's a lot of empty space though... you could add another image or something to fill it up, maybe?
oh, and this is pretty generic feedback, but i like the colours!

i haven't been on chicken smoothie in forever to really play, just to pop in and get the new pets.
so.... i changed my signature because i wanted a fresh one!
it's of my sona, yurievna, and i am very happy with how it came out!

no one's posted anything in a while, but i figured i'd drop by with a question anyway
i've spent the last hour trying to figure out how to get the textbox and image in the bottom row of my sig to line up with the transparent cactus (under the words "grendel & co") and i can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. i made the mistake of not creating columns when doing my initial layout but i've already put so much time into this, i don't want it to all go to waste.
does anyone know how i can fix it?
any help is greatly appreciated!!

I am a ginger, I like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Pokemon.... typical stuff from my generation. Into biology, zoology, environmental science. I like making art, in various forms- makeup, cards, etc., although I don't often wear makeup myself. And I'm hoping to learn to code, and use this fanclub for inspiration as needed. ^-^

No. I'm still pretty new at it and I've only made two so far. I won't open one until I can make more decent signatures..

What's your favourite and least favourite part about coding:

My favorite part would have to be the feeling of pride and accomplishment when I finish a signature. I'd always think, "Wow, I actually made this?"

My least favorite part about coding, aside from making sigs that would just lie around to waste, is the paranoia from using images or gifs that aren't from a free-use database like Pixabay. I want to make fandom-themed sigs, but I'm afraid I'd get in trouble for taking images from them.

When did you begin making signatures?:

First half of 2017. My first sig was made in February. I made my next one a day ago.

Tell us a bit about yourself?:

Student whose study habits are ruined through procrastination. I'm pretty deep in a few fandoms... I've had interest in coding for a while, but haven't really experimented until this year.

Welcome, FreshCookies and InsidiousFlair! :) Your - and everyone else's - signatures look absolutely lovely, as usual.

I recreated my free signature thread yesterday and I've already completed two new signatures for it. Since I'm usually a very slow coder, I was pretty surprised at how fast I managed to create them - perhaps I'm finally developing faster methods, lol. I also changed the style of coding I use, so I'm no longer confined by the whole centre left thing I used to have going on. I'm planning on hopefully making one more sig if this muse persists. :)

If I may ask, how do you all come up with your layouts? Layouts are definitely the number one thing I have trouble with in coding. I always have to draw them out beforehand, and even then they never quite come out the way I planned, lol.

this thread to start a new one but they
deleted the post around 3 days ago.
anyways, i usually build my layouts by
either referencing others on this thread
or centering my sig around one image.
sometimes i just wing it and throw some
stuff into the sig thing and edit from there.

I don't plan out my layouts. I make them on-the-spot. (Which I probably shouldn't do. It usually turns out to be a mess.)

@ Greenleafc Aah, thank you. But, alas, I didn't make it. I still am completely thrown off by signature coding, although I'm trying to at least somewhat learn how they're done.
