L I F E

The life of the twins has been both unkind and joyous, smacking the pair down only for them to get right back up again. Starting off, Bù and Xĭ lost their parents to an unfortunate accident caused by Bù's unknown powers. This sparked the very first of their fights, Xĭ having tried to save their injured parents but having wound up killing them.

Bù doesn't, and never will, blame him for this. She understands that he only wanted to help. This left them orphaned and causing trouble with a few other children. Throughout their lives Xĭ has always been more successful than Bù, climbing the ladder and succeeding where Bù has to limp along miles behind him. Even so, Bù is content in her little apartment with the money she earns to get by. Her life is peaceful, something she treasures after the hectic time in the orphanage and foster system. She has no plans for the future relationship wise, preferring to stay single and not have to share anything with anyone but her brother when he comes around. Maybe some day he'll bring a niece or nephew around for her to love on, but who knows?

On the other hand, Xĭ blames himself and Bù for what happened to their parents, although he hasn't let her know this. Most of this blame he carries on his own shoulders, as in the end, he killed them. However, this accident is what fueled his desire to become a doctor, so he could actually help those in need. He desires for her to find a place she can be just as happy as he has become, and hopes one day she will have a family of her own. He hasn't been actively looking for his own because he doesn't want to leave her behind.

R E P R E S E N T A T I O N

Bùxìng represents the dark and cold side of the moon, she is never really seen or heard but doesn't mind. The darkness has always been her friend, always will, it is a comfort to her like a warm blanket is to an infant. Bùxìng represents Yin in two ways, her dark, cold jewel powers and in her passive, often gentle and kind mannerisms. She is most often seen at night or in dim almost moon like lighting, furthering her shove into darkness. Despite her little success Bùxìng is happy, and moves with such a grace that one would mistake her as a goddess. She is one with her surroundings, at peace with the chaotic world around her, she is not very active and would much rather stay home with her music, tea, and a good book.

R E L A T I O N S H I P- Xĭyuè

Bùxìng has always had a relatively good relationship with Xĭyuè despite their constant fighting as kids. It was silly really, the arguments started between them for no reason and the grudges they held for weeks on end, the refusal to so much as speak with eachother. They were quite the handful to their poor care takers, always running amuck and causing problems while they argued. Their relationship is a srtong one, forged through the flames and toughness life has brought upon them. Bù wouldn't trade her brother for anything in the world, and he is the one being she can't cause misfortune. As adults they stay close, but have drifted apart physically. Bù sees Xĭ once in a while, work keeps him very busy but she is proud of him. He' accomplished every goal he set out, and lives to make the lives of others better than his. She hopes nothing will ever harm or hinder her brother in his life, and wishes him nothing but the very best on his journey. This is part of the reason for them not seeing eachother very often, their clashing jewel powers and Bù being afraid she'll rub off on him. Either way, if one needs the other they're never more than a phone call or text away and the dark twin would drop everything she is currently doing to go see her brother. They are all the other has, seeing that their parents left them when they were very young.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Gentle, kind: mild in temperament or behavior; kind or tender.
This Simadoes not walk this earth to harm or be mean, she is here to provide the shoulder others need for support. She never wants to fight, or use her nightmare ability. She handles things with the utmost care, refraining from using too much force or a loud voice.
Loving: feeling or showing love or great care.
Bù cares greatly for everyone and everything, even those that hurt or tease her. She hates to see others feel unwanted or unloved, it burns her to her very core. In these situations, despite her shyness, she will move to this lion and sit with them to talk. She's the shoulder on can go to cry on and the one who you can go to when you need her.
Observant: quick to notice things
Bù has a keen eye for others and her surroundings. She almost never misses a detail, a twitch of the side or tighten of the jaw. With her keen eyes Bù can see the anger form in someone's eyes, the sorrow they try and hide, and the pain they carry like weight over their shoulders despite their attempts to hide it. She never lets on that she knows how they feel unless they wish to talk about it.
Subdued: quiet and rather reflective or depressed.
This Sima can often be found in a reflective silence, contemplating current events or simply trying to dig her past back up. She enjoys the silence, finds a beauty in it that others often don't.
Meek: quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive.
Bù is easily pushed to do things that lead her out of her comfort zone. All another Sima has to do is tell her firmly or say please, and she will do it. She does this to make others happy despite herself, she can't bare to see anger or sorrow because she didn't do something, it hurts her heart in ways it shouldn't.
Confident at first glance:
Bù appears confident on the surface, despite her ears being held slightly back most times. At first glance she appears ready and willing to face the world with her best or worst foot forward, nothing to stop her and nothing to stand in her way. However this is not true, the girl puts on a fake aura of confidence so lions who first meet her, briefly, think she doesn't care about her powersor what others think. She really does care, does let it get to her. Every harsh word cuts her like a blade, eats away at what little confidence she does have.
Passionate: showing or caused by strong feelings or a strong belief.
Bù is one to find something that makes her feel strongly and latch on to it. She never backs away from something she believes in and will fight for it if she needs to.
Fair: in accordance with the rules or standards; legitimate.
This Sima is one of the few who, when dealing with arguments, will listen to both sides of a story and attempt to solve the problem appropriately. She never punishes one without punishing the other if they deserve it. If one is in the wrong without the other being so, Spark will do what needs to be done no matter how gentle she is.
Intelligent: having or showing intelligence, especially of a high level.
Bù is an extremely intelligent sima despite her memories being locked away behind a thick mist. She gives off the wise old owl vibe, and always seems to know what you're talking about. She is confused herself how she knows all her information, but she does. She suspects it has something to do with her past, but nobody truly knows.

H O B B I E S

Violin- Bù makes a living off of her hobby, she is a violinist at heart and loves it.
Reading- Bù enjoys reading fantasy novels and anything on the creepier side. The thrill and escape from reality fuel her music.
tea- Bù absolutely adores all tea, her favorite would have to be chocolate orange black tea.
Sima watching- Bù watches other simas to check out how others handle things and behave, she uses this to attempt at acting sometimes

Xĭyuè is very much like the light side of the moon, a bright reflection of the emotions around him. He is almost always happy and bright-spirited, preferring to think of life in a positive light - it makes everything seem much brighter than if he looks at it with a small hope from a dark place. However, this does not make him soft. He's very straightforward and sometimes brash - the cause of many of the childhood fights with his dear sister. He feels everything very passionately - deep joy, unbidden sorrow, merciless anger. When angry, he can't control his powers - bringing death to someone near him. At these times, the only thing that brings balance is the company of his sister.

R E L A T I O N S H I P- Bùxìng

Xĭyuè dearly loves his sister and is very close to her despite their fights and the small bitterness he has in his heart caused by the death of their parents. While Xĭyuè still fights with Bùxìng sometimes, they fought a lot more as children - holding grudges over silly things and starting arguments just for fun. As they've grown up they've stayed close, but they see each other less and less. However, he is very proud of who she has become, thinking that she's a wonderful sima to know if only she would get out a little more. In the past, he tried to get her to be more adventurous, but as he fulfilled his dream of becoming a doctor he had less time to spend encouraging her to try new things.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Joyful: feeling, expressing, or causing great pleasure and happiness.
Xĭyuè is almost always smiling, even when there's trouble afoot. He finds a way to be positive in most situations and tries to spread that positivity with his smiles, or compliments to his coworkers and others going through hard times.

Passionate: showing or caused by strong feelings or a strong belief.
Despite being a very joyful sima, Xĭyuè also has very volatile, fierce emotions. He has a habit of latching onto an emotion and sticking with it at all costs.This leads to lots of arguments, misunderstandings, and many, many hurt feelings. Of course, he never means to hurt anyone, it just happens and he can't help himself, as his emotions are as uncontrollable as his power used to be.

Brash: self-assertive in a rude, noisy, or overbearing way.
Despite being a very kind sima, when things get tough, Xĭyuè can be aggressive with his words. This especially happens around his sister, because he wants what's best for her, but doesn't always know how to express his caring in a gentle way.

Compassionate: feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others.
Xĭyuè's compassion is something he had to work on. He used to have it only for his family, but as time passed, he realized he needed to have it for everyone. It took a lot of practice, but he's learned how to be sympathetic towards everyone. This comes in handy, as more simas want to go to him for help at work due to this change in attitude. Well, slight change. He still can't be overly sympathetic with most feelings - but he's trying.

Lonely: without companions; solitary.
Because he's so busy, Xĭyuè has no friends beyond his sister. Since they don't get to see each other often, this leaves Xĭyuè feeling very lonely when he's off work. Any attempts thus far to find friends or a girlfriend have proved fruitless, making him only feel even more upset about his situation and lack of company.

Confident: feeling or showing confidence in oneself; self-assured.
Despite his crippling loneliness, Xĭyuè is very confident in his abilities as a doctor. This has given him a lot of success in the workplace, which leads to him only feeling better about himself. This confidence does not translate into his dating life, or he'd surely have a girlfriend by now. However, it just hasn't worked that way for him. He's terrible with women.

H O B B I E S

Camping - Xĭyuè loves camping, especially for the warm fires, the smores, and being with family. Whenever he goes camping, he always brings Bu along with him so she's not lonely.
Writing - In his free time, Xĭyuè is a freelance writer, publishing short stories and poetry as a way to de-stress from his busy,
whirlwind lifestyle.
