I to have a love for betta fish, My male Veil tail betta. I named him battle (I was 12...okay) I had him for almost a year before he finally past away. Lets just say he started my love for aquatic animals. I would point my finger to one of the tanks corners and he would swim to that corner (It was one of those small crappy beta starter tanks don't worry i know better now) I may get another betta sometime this year or after this year still trying to decide.

I must say both moon and blue jelly fish are beautiful.
My favorite would have to be the Golden jellyfish (Its sting-less)

sharks are completely awesome. they're beautiful creatures! it sucks that they have such a bad rep... they don't even like human meat?!

I 100% agree! Most shark attacks to humans were provoked in someway even if they didn't know they provoke the shark. Like suffers the reason why they are attacked is because there surf boards look like a seal to sharks! I hate it when people blame the shark!

Haha no worries about the name - i think it's cute.
I mean, my current betta is named after a giant purple Dinosaur i loved as a kid, Barney.
My first betta was also a Veil tailed, His name was Hades. He lived for about 2 1/2 years.
He was one of the favorites i had, for sure. He was a bit of a grump, but always followed my mother and i around.
I've actually got him, and another Betta tattooed on me (No color just yet, but someday when i can afford it i'll finish it )

Also the Golden jellies are quite beautiful, too.
I think my Fascination with Moon jellies came to be because i've just researched them so much.
They're one of the few Jellies you can have in a home aquarium. They're also one of my moms favorites - So the dream is to one day have a Moon jelly tank for her.
Hence all of the research haha

I LOVE BETTA FISH TATTOOS THERE SO BEAUTIFUL! (With or without color)
I'm also planing on having a tattoo done on my right arm of my favorite domestic and non domestic fish
That's why I like golden jellies so much (Not the aquarium part) I just did so much research on them! (I screamed when I saw them in the event this year XD) If you do ever get a moon jellyfish aquarium I would adore to see pictures.

This was taken shortly after it was done, so it's a bit shiny. haha.

Note, my artist didn't know a whole lot about Tail types, but when he drew this up i fell in love.
So even though one was a Veil tail, and the other was a HM Plakat - I figured jus getting their colors would suffice.
It's one of my favorite tattoos (I have 10 now)


But the top one will be Hades, He was red, black, and blue.
Where the bottom will be Dreamy, who was light blue, and pink. <3

I will one day, but that's waaaaay down the line lol.
I haven't dabbled much in saltwater, except for helping my parents with their tanks.
When i do start getting into it - it'll be a slow process with baby steps. lol. Probably just starting off with a 55g community tank, and working my way up to the dreamies.

Not only with the Jellies, But i'd love to also have tanks for a Black angler, a Marine betta, and a Peacock mantis shrimp.

I legit just want my house Filled with fishtanks haha.


But, i'm with ya there. I joined about a month ago and got SO excited my first event was an aquatic one! With loads of awesome pets, and Fishy decor!

Omg Its soooo beautiful!
Neither have I worked with saltwater fish I have only ever had freshwater fish (Except for my betta we just bought the betta bottled water for it XD) Slow and steady is the best way to go. I might have to have a second house just for fish tanks Same even though I joined sometime in 2016 but this is for sure my favorite event! (I screamed so much during this event my dad was becoming concerned XD)
